I'm sorry to hear about yours. Losing a dog is a tragic experience; I lost one two years back when I was in the home stretch of my senior year.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I've seen them all, and they're all awesome in their own way. I suppose I should reveal what's going on...

Tomorrow, my dog Harry is getting put down. That little man's been my buddy for nigh 15 years, and the family knew it was gonna happen eventually, but it still feels like one of my moral support beams has snapped in half, and it reminded me about how much I fear the future, particularly with how you never know what will happen to those you love. But even then, I've got to remember that there's still a ton of other awesome stuff coming in the future; we're getting a new, real Mario Party, we're getting Smash with everybody coming back, we've even got pecking Ridley in the game, for Sakurai's sake!
It's kind of funny. The community went from a hot debate on Pokemon's Switch debut to cheering up a grown-*** man blubbering over losing his dog. That's what I love about you guys; when one of us is feeling down, you set all tension aside and hop to their defense. Thanks for your kind words, I'll be feeling a lot better later down the line.

And I might as well jump on this bandwagon:

Dark Pit: make all his attacks deal more damage and give him and extra jump, but let his attacks launch farther and make him a bit lighter to differentiate him from Pit. That's all that would make me content.

Sorry about that , just know that he lived a happy full life.

I currently have two dogs, and they've been through some tough **** this year. My oldest one, a golden retriever, had a ripped tendon, so he had to get surgery to replace it. Currently, he's in kennel rest and while he's still limping around, he's getting better. My younger one, a bichon frise, got an infection in her mouth and needed to get a total of eight teeth removed. Because of that she has a bit of difficulty eating hard food now.

Things have been rough, it especially doesn't help my golden is 13 and getting old, but I love them and I will cherish the happiness the brought to my life until the day I die.

It just dawned on me again that we're getting literally everybody back. Nobody is going to have to deal with their characters being cut. We have ****ing Solid Snake in Smash Bros. again.

This game is going to be great.

A while back, a lot of people got salty when I suggested Rex would be an echo fighter, but I respectfully have another case for this. Here are a few things that we've learned since then:

• Echo fighters are not required to share all special moves with the fighter they are based on.
• They can derive moves from other fighters, even if the animations aren't one hundred percent identical (Chrom doesn't throw his sword).

Let's all admit something we can't deny. Rex is perfectly capable of echoing ALL of Shulk's NON special moves. But, the other contention from last time I had this discussion is the affinity mechanic. I've been thinking lately about 8-Player Smash and how it's had an affect on stages and characters. In order for the affinity to mechanic to work, Rex and his partner would be able to separate from each other from a long distance, and whether or not that character is in the background like Pokemon Trainer or in the foreground like Nana, and I don't think for a second that this will work in 8-Player Smash. Not unless the players are right next to each other like Popo and Nana are.

With that, here's what I think. I thin Elma will be chosen as the unique Xenoblade newcomer, and Rex will debut alongside her as Shulk's echo fighter. This makes perfect sense to me as there are people expecting both characters and Elma's game was around the time that Smash Ultimate began development, even though Rex had concept art around the same time.

This isn't to say Rex won't have any features that are unique to him, but a majority of his abilities (basically everything that isn't one of the four special moves) will be derived from Shulk. And it also makes sense since people have been speculating he may be a late addition.

This next one is all about the Tales franchise and I went with the four most popular Tales protagonists. The choices are Lloyd Irving, Cless Alvein, Leon Magnus, and Yuri Lowell.

I put a vote towards Lloyd. I remember he was super popular back in the early days of Smash 4 speculation, and after seeing a little bit of gameplay I can see that he could be a fun addition. The real question is where did most of his support disappear to after the Mii Costume reveal? He kinda vanished from the speculation scene for this game, but I guess I'd be happy with him if he were added as a second Namco character.

So uh...
Which Newcomers that we know of are you most excited for?
For me, it's Inkling .

I adore Splatoon! It's only existed for three years and it's right up there with Mario for me. Even though it was predictable i'm so glad Inkling is in Smash!
I hope Woomy is a taunt...

- A dream come true for so many fans, myself included. A dream I never thought would be possible but here we are in a timeline where Ridley can fight a Rathalos, Simon Belmont and King K. Rool.

I lost my 15 year old dog last year and his brother a couple years earlier. They both died in the same room of my house, near the front door they loved going out every day to take their walks. I know how rough it is to lose someone. I recently rescued some black cats that were possibly in for rough lives, in loving memory of my dogs; even though I'm more of a dog person, I wanted to make sure these cats had a good home and honestly, they're actually pretty doglike in personality. Very affectionate for cats; kinda like having my two boys back again when they were puppies. It can take a long time to get over the loss of a beloved pet, but I also recommend finding another animal to give that love to because there are so many out there that could use it.

Missing stages have been bothering me ever since the direct, but one thing I missed from the direct is that "ALL stages are playable in 8-Player Smash"

So if you'e wondering why stages like Oribital Gate Assault, Pokefloats, Icicle Mountain, and Rumble Falls are missing, I wouldn't get your hopes up that they'll turn up.

On the other hand, another thing you might have missed is that the direct showed Sector Z from Smash 64 to be an available track in the game's music and on the website, Mute City from Smash 3DS is labelled "Mute City SNES" similar to Dreamland GB, which avoids confusion with the other Dreamland stage that is playable in the game.

So while I'd say you can still keep your hopes that we'll be seeing Mute City and Sector Z as well as potentially more past stages, I wouldn't keep your hopes up for the ones I've listed.

I have a new leak for Smash Ultimate

I will be running down a few things I know that i'm pretty sure the public does NOT know...

- Shadow the Hedgehog joins the battle, as a semi-clone of Sonic. Apparently, he was planned to be just a simple echo fighter, but gained too many nuances so he had to be relegated to his own slot. He is treated as a fully-new fighter, and will recieve his own reveal cinematic.

- Isabelle joins the battle as an echo fighter of Villager. She has distinct animations, and the pull range on her pocket move seems to be much larger than Villager's.

- Black Knight joins the battle as an echo fighter of Ike. He appears to have very few changes, but has an alternate costume with his armor off (In which his on screen name changes to "Zelgius")

- Louie joins the battle as an echo fighter of Olimar. He plucks Pikmin in reverse order, and automatically drops all of his Pikmin when using his recovery.

- Slippy joins the battle as an echo fighter of Falco. He lacks a multi-jab attack compared to the fighter he echoes, and his blaster has a stun effect, at the cost of being a bit more laggy.

- There are a few fighters I have not seen yet.

- A new Sonic stage will be appearing. It's Westopolis, the first level from Shadow the Hedgehog.

- Three stages are returning from previous games which I don't think have been revealed yet. They are, in order: Sector Z, Mute City, and Pac-Maze.

- A new stage seems to be appearing that I have not seen yet. There still appears to be one empty space before the expected DLC button.

- Westopolis, along with the aforementioned returning stages, will be the ONLY unlockable stages. As Sakurai said, the default 103 stages will be available from the start.

- The character select screen can be organized by fighter number or by series.

- The new online mode will feature a more casual-style lobby akin to Brawl's, "For Everyone" alongside For Fun and For Glory.

- Characters can be unlocked via amiibos.

Shadow is also overall faster, but he has rocket skates, a pretty key point to his character design. Another thing is, his chaos abilities are a pretty major thing, and unlike Sonic Wind, Chaos Spear evolved as a much more useful move(Sonic Wind somewhat did in Sonic Battle, but nowhere to the same degree as the chaos powers).

Regardless, he works fine as an echo, but I think he'll have chaos aesthetics to be far more accurate overall. That, and a new running animation.

Shadow has used Springs before in the Sonic series so that wouldn’t even be an issue, all that needs to be changed are his animations like Dark Samus and they’re all set.

His Final Smash would probably be similar to Sonic’s as well. (Hyper Shadow)

I would have them reuse his AT thing where he Chaos Controls making everyone move in slow motion. Only it doesn't effect him, so he can run around and wreck ****.
