Did you not see the masses of "get ***** fuzzy" posts?

Why does the community relish in seeing it's own players do badly?

Anyway, believe what you will, I've quit.
Ohhh I thought you meant people commenting about you.

And so what people said 'get ***** Fuzzy' and relish in our own players doing bad, the same thing happened to me at SNY and the same thing happened when I lost to Fuzzy all those times in the past at UK events.....I got loads of people saying stuff about me....get used to it.

And ok lol....Bye I guess.

LAST DRAGON: Welcome to the club mate;)
GET OFF OF HERE MONRONE.....YOU HAVE BEEN PLAYING RECENTLY AND WANT TO TAKE YOUR GAMEPLAY UP TO THE NEXT LEVEL!!!! LOL

I just got mentioned in VAs post and i didnt even say anything lol ,

also you placed higher than fuzz i would have expected a post like that from him xD

what is MTG ?

to be fair armada and amsah have put in the time

melee is just incredibly hard to play well .

at least quit after sny2 if you get another upset

+ prof you sure arent winning this monthly lol
LOOOL So he is going to win this Monthly then if this is your point of view....do you think it's gonna be you or Fuzzy or something lol....cos im definitely looking to win this monthly since it will further confirm my position.

Even though im already the best in the UK this will definitely confirm it no matter what....

And yes Armada and Amsah have put in more time then most of us, thus them being better....but overall VA has a bad mentality when it comes to playing smash underpressure and always chokes at every tournament he has ever been to (since i've never actually heard him say he hasn't)...it sounded like he did pretty good in his pools which I was proud to here but I know he's losing to some people by choking instead of getting outplayed....

lol It's just practice though and experience with skill, I think it's pretty neccesary for you to play people though to improve, but until then....gain a good understanding of the game and become extremely consistent with your tech skill or if you're still playing IC's then grab combos.

And who the hell is your new main loool.....I really can't picture you playing anyonelse except for IC's and I honestly think that if you change it will pull you back a few places.....you placed pretty good at the last UK event, I definitely don't think you would get near that if you were to change main.

Scrubs be trippin. I'm not quitting, jut trollin lol. I'm more motivated than ever before. I nearly beat Amsah in a legitimate match and hack in a legitimate set, how could I be thinking about quitting now?

I am used to the UK relishing in our players doing ****. I think once we all start travelling things will change. I'm not gonna lie I had a sneaky smile on when Fuzzy lost to Aniolas, but after about 5 minutes I was genuinely gutted for him.

I don't choke as bad anymore, I'm getting over it.

When it comes down to it I guess I choked a bit against hack. That's lame, but I'm not too bothered because I clutched it out against other people.

I was pretty happy with my performance all in all. Like I said, if I'd beaten hack that would have been guaranteed 9th, perhaps 7th or even 5th.

Prof, I was never pleased about you doing badly. For your information, I want you to do well because you represent the UK. Everyone was asking about you at Beast. I told them all that you're good. They're like "everyone thinks he's **** cos of SNY". I told everyone that this is absolutely not true.

Anyway I'll try to write up what happened to Fuzzy in the tournament.

Pool 1

2-0d everyone including Helios and Zettrox.

Pool 2

Lost 2-1 to Leffen, it was sort of **** in game three. I think he JV 3d Charles. I watched the match and this falco was no joke. Charles beat Calle W 2-0 and Helios again. It was a lot closer with helios this time though. The Calle W thing is cool but not as amazing as it sounds, an Austrian Falco who didn't get out of 2nd round pools 2-0d Calle W in Pools 1.

Bracket

The first match was against Android. Obviously I didn't see this as I playing next to Charles so I can only tell you about the game scores. Originally everyone thought they were playing best of 5, so Charles and Android stopped playing after the set score stood at 2-1 to Charles. They had to start again and Charles edged it out at 3-2. Like I said, the gay Swedish crowd had a big impact on both UK sets going on at this time.

His second match was against Pasi. I started watching at 1-1, Charles was about to die on YS to a shine edgeguard on the last stock and Pasi ****ed up and got stage spiked by Falcon Up B. It was funny and Charles moved ahead 2-1. Pasi CPd back to YS and won comfortably. Charles CPd onto BF and was behind the whole match but had a couple of chances to level the match. Pasi made some good recoveries that avoided Charles' tilt edgegauards and combined with Charles messing up a couple of times, Pasi had a comfortable victory.

ANIOLAS. Ok I didn't see this but Beast said it was the most horrible thing he'd ever seen. Charles won game 1 easily. Aniolas won game 2. Charles CPd to PS and lost. This caused him to lose confidence and switch to Jigglypuff. He got a rest in the first few seconds of game 4 which gave him enough of an advantage to win that one. But apparently game 5 was one of the campiest games ever played. Charles himself told me he used over 9000 bairs. Anyway somehow his gay camping didn't win and he went out. It sucked hard as if he had a good bracket after aniolas and he got 17th.

Yeah I was on the LiveStream and I saw the bracket.....he had IVP after who he should and would have won against.
And then he would have had to play Calle W next who he already beat in pools and then Jeapie the falcon player.

And I wasn't exactly pleased to hear anyone placed low and when Tamoo was saying that he was proud of 13th was a respectable position I knew that you wouldn't be happy withn that position as you shouldn't since none of the top people would be.

Charles shouldn't have gone Jiggz...but yeah it is kind of gay that UK overall did bad and now that I think about it im not too happy either lol, it just makes me want to step up and help everyone do the same as well and destroy at the next event....I honestly think that if all of the top 3 (top 4 if Edwin comes) travel to an event it would help us all....

GUARANTEE I would be behind one of you lots matches talking HARDCORE smack everytime you do something good and give you that confidence boost lol.

Are you coming to this monthly as I think it will help to show where our abilities at the moment and also help us improve???

people who Europeans asked me about at BEAST:
-Professor Pro
-Bullet Bill

true story
loool @ Bullet Bill....I didn't even know a lot of European players would know about him due to him not being a big poster around the boards....but he does post on quite a lot of youtube videos or he might speak to a lot of them on MSN....but it's good to see them interested anyway

Out of curiousity who was asking about me anyway?

IMPORTANT QUESTION

WHO'S BRINGING RECORDING EQUIPMENT TO THIS MONTHLY?!?!

I don't want another incident like last time and would like our sets to be recorded with commentary and all that stuff and to also update the UK channel.

oya, ill be checking out how to do this too, i'll want to do this at my tournament too, unless of course a melee-er wants to run that for the melee players by themself (yes, im thinknig a tad far ahead)

Armada and CW started playing when they were 10... ****ing hell thats 8+ years *_*

Smakis, play marth / sheik, both are **** and can be practiced at home ;)

EDIT: afaik I jv3 stocked fuzzy 2nd and 3rd game, first game was down to the wire ( i did a 140% combo last stock but then missed a simple edgehog ). Calle W's controller broke during first round pools, couldn't lcancel and shield. He switched controller after first round.

Oh and lol prof pro logic.

( btw I heard from hack that fuzzy was all like "HOW COULD YOU LOSE TO ANIOLAS!? " in pools xD. Jinxing ftw ).

lol What logic...

In short without going into too much depth....to be good at smash you need Practice, Experience and Skill....those things derive into many sub categories but nonetheless those are the things you need....

Unless you were referring to somethingelse.

Edit - Who was Fuzzy saying the 'How could you lose to Aniolas' statement to lol....also that partially serves him right lol
I'm guessing you mean Smakis though...

leffen is ****, consistently 1 stocking me almost every single game we played the entire tournament =)

I was actually thinking about maining falco, he is rather similar to n64 fox and has a pretty high tech skill roof (lots of stuff to learn at home ololol). And I know I will drop, my ICs have improved quite a lot after gt4 but I still think it's just impossible to take peach down when armada plays like he does.

Obviously it's not final and I will spend the next monthly trying to figure out who to main =).

Oh and about cw, like leffen said his R trigger broke during the games against the austrian falco (you try beating someone without lcanceling, wavedashing and shielding =P), then he had to use an old controller.

loool Yeah I pretty much do feel you will never take out Armada playing IC's.....but is it neccesary to stop playing IC's

Like you can always have two characters as there will undoubtably be people who know how to play against falco but not everyone can handle IC's....
Don't think that you have to think about playing one....why don't you just say you want to main both so you're gonna be training up your falco while continously playing IC's

And there are tonnes of things you have to learn with falco like the right way to pressure people....espesh his lasers and lasering through platforms....double jump FF double laser....sheild spacing lasering.
Well good luck anyway.

Also thats gay about the Calle W controller thing lol.

Not another falcoooo Q___Q. w/e, if ur gonna practice him at home, practice spacing perfect lasers frame perfect :=) gonna start practicing some myself. Just remember, falco vs peach is almost as hard as ICs, and armada has a ****load of exp vs falco.

Prof, i was refering to the "fuzzy beat him before so he will beat him now " logic.
I know I would prob have gotten 5th/7th if I really wanted to, but I had no motiviation in winning over pamaro since Hack told me beforehand that he would play Kirby and i knew it was gonna be mad hype.
I could prob have defeated Hack, or atleast made it close, and could probably mind**** Ice with yoshi ;) but should've could've would've, theorycrafting only gets you so far.

Btw prof, do you practice any vs CPUs? If so what, trying to get perfect in as many areas as possible. :d

EDIT: Reverse Nair pressure is ****ing beast with falco, learn it! Oh and against marth you should always pressure with shine-> shl inside him, he cant grab someone whos right in him, only infront and slightly behind.

What about motivation and confidence Prof? all of these things affect how a person plays.

Also, it doesn't really matter how long people have been playing, some people are just naturally amazing like Mango and Armada and a few others.

I know one pro gamer who stopped playing for 2 years to study(think about how much a high level game progresses in 2 years), came back and was at #1 in about 6 weeks. MICHAEL JONGORIUS FTW!

and yes I went jigglypuff and did more than 250 b airs each game

I didn't care, I just wanted to stay in the air at a safe distance getting hits to win. This is me being purely a tourney ***

wow omg he consistently 1 stocked smakis, must be ****! I'm ot sure that I watched match 2 of fuzzy leffen I just rememebr it being super harsh.

@prof

OF COURSE I am coming to the monthly. I will be practicing my butt off with peach from now on (as I usually do not do this), so you can expect to see some new stuff hopefully. The thing that Beast made me realise is that if I was 100% consistent with Peach, I could actually be pretty scary.

I think 13th isn't quite respectable, but I'm not that upset with it. Only because I know that I was so close to having better.

I think Fuzzy told me that Aniolas was a free win in my pool, which he was not, it was close as hell even though I was in the lead most of the time.

falco vs peach being almost as hard as ic vs peach is just pure bull**** sorry =), wont ever, ever agree with you on that one (try it yourself, enjoy feeling helpless <3).

Anyhow I will still keep ICs as my secondary, spent too much time on those silly grabthingies to completly let them go =P. And I pretty much expect to drop a few spots, I don't really mind. Who knows, switching characters and not focusing so much on my grabs might help improve my ICs.

and he was **** enough to outplace you va trololololol

Ics-Peach is like 70-30, falco -peach is like 60-40 =/ Start playing armada and you will also be feeling helpless, he has so much exp vs falco and until you get REALLY good with falco, you will be consistently 4 stocked by him over half of the time : /

Yeah I know the fact of me saying he would have beat IVP cos he done it before is silly logic but basically I just meant that he had a good chance of beating him and progressing in the bracket.
I don't practice against computers anymore.....I don't really play the game that much by myself like I used to lol mostly play against people....my tech skill is very consistent and I have more then I actually need so practicing by myself doesn't do much unless it's an extreme specific thing

What about motivation and confidence Prof? all of these things affect how a person plays.

lol I know......it wasn't a fully depthful post as I made it clear by clearly stating my post was simplistic....so to point out anythingelse which I did not include would be unnecessary.

loool.....Well being a tournament star star star obvious doesn't always help as obviously you lost....time to re-stragize.....playing gay doesn't not always make you win, sometimes you gotta beast it out and overwhelm to win.

....I read what you said earlier.....IC's vs Peach is NO WHERE NEAR Falco vs Peach

Falco can win and has a pretty good chance of winning, key thing you missing is that your talking about Armada, to be fair (no offence) your not up to par with Armada so you're gonna get *****....people like Shiz and Dr.PP and Mango who are up to par with him show a complete different result while I think I remember Wobbles getting dominanted....the matchups aren't close to the same

I have to say something here. Smakis was saying how the match up was not that bad before the tournament. He was saying how I'm **** at the match up (even though I ***** him everytime at it). He gets destroyed by Armada then decides to drop his main. This is weak in my opinion. I don't think chudat or fly would get totally destroyed by armada. Wobbles has mindset issues in smash and can be ***** for it.

Peach ICs is a bad match up, but it is not broken. You really just have to spend a long time learning these things. You can't expect someone who is a lot better than you at the game and the match up to not **** you.

Smakis you missed the point of what I was saying about Leffen. You said he was **** cos he 1 stocked you consistently. That's a really gay and cocky way of complementing yourself.

actually you 3 stocked me once, almost all other games were 1 stocks =P

and no I wasn't complementing myself (even though I realise now it may have looked that way ahaha), when he decides to not play stupidly aggressive and getting wobbled he **** me.

And it's not only armada, it's the fact that every single player I met in 2nd round of pools + bracket camped me like a *****. Getting camped every single game you play = not fun
