Aw dudes, today was awesome. Thanks for making this clueless first-timer feel somewhat welcome.

I wish so bad I coulda stayed around for after pools, but rides and whatever, we had to go. Sucks. I didn't come in expecting to accomplish much of anything but getting some improvement. After playing Kels and LittleEngland in pools especially, my **** got ROCKED. I gotta get some practice friendlies in sometime and grind 'em out till I get more than one kill in a game.

Also, the noob bracket was great, I loved it. At least I lost to the guy who won it, eh. Freakin' Jiggs mirrors haha. Good going Bieber. I dunno if this is a common thing in Melee tournaments but it's a great idea and really helps keep interest with all skill levels.

I'm glad to say I've finally gone to a competition in which losing didn't feel bad at all, and thanks everyone for being bros. After finally getting myself to a tournament, I really gotta get into the Melee scene.

that's a solid date for it. will people be off for christmas break at that point? i think that's what brought out a lot of new faces and people that are typically unable to come out to our tournaments; they were on break.
