Okay so I've made this facebook group for Smash:

I really think that a facebook group could be very beneficial.

In the past, people have tried making individual forums and such for different states, but they never lasted because, well, we have smashboards.

Facebook is a great means of connecting people because anyone can use it, and a lot of people do. It also means we have something players can subscribe to themselves, and be kept updated with information on events that they may otherwise miss out on.

That's the thing too, we can use facebook to put out 'related events' meaning players will get updated on tournaments and the like.

So I want everyone with a facebook account to get on this and invite their friends too.

Hmm, I wonder if I'll get hammered by JV.
Pretty sure this constitutes advertising.

Though I figure if Genesis can keep their link to the NorCal smash forums, I can keep this.
