Can people please bring consoles. The last 2 times i've been to slhq there has only been Nido's and my setup for brawl.
Looking forward to games with everyone tomorrow.

Yeah well given the amount of people going home before 6pm we can do multiple tourneys. I'm glad someone brought it up, I would feel severely uncomfortable having a doubles tourney without Nicks.

Okay so we are using the Apex Brawl rule set tomorrow. Please read under the second post of this thread for full details (first page, under my original post).

Main changes are the stagelist, the ledge grab limit and scrooging.
Please note, pausing can be left on but the rules apply, try not to pause during a tournament match.

Also this is considered an official tournament but given the circumstances the rules won't be harshly enforced of course (DQ's etc.)

edit: i think i figured it out, but once you ban a stage, is it considered banned for the next match (4eva), and must a counterpick stage be chosen or can you choose a starter in the second match?

Once you ban YI and LC, how exactly do they get to have their way with you on Smashville FD and Battlefield? None of those stages **** you. Everyone plays metaknight anyway so it's not like any of those stages are PARTICULARLY good for them. And if you're worried about a Diddy then it's your fault for not just leaving YI on and banning Smashville or something, because YI hurts him more than you.

btw I didn't even know Donkey Kong was low tier lol

platform bad not useful at all (smashville can be used as safety without getting in the way, platforms on battlefield do not get in the way and work with nanas, having a banana on yoshis island platform is not as useful as the individual platform is so big so they can maintain the platform even if banana is on it and it's easier for them to get the banana and if diddy is below platform it's harder for him to get his banana again then it is on battlefield as the platform can be tilted slightly up - it's already a tad high if it's not tilted at all - and diddy can be left open by this)
tilts a little bad
ledges bad, hurt him as much as you.
hard to get out of pressure, if you can put pressure on in the first place though.
harder to use banana aggressively

As Diddy, YI feels yucky.
