Robsta, I also spent 2 hours wiping the floor with you in Melee at manifest, how could you forget?

So now you've snidely insulted me and your apology is insincere.
Why, every time you post you insist on doing so in a tone that is offensive.

Please keep a handle on your emotions, because you post frequently and I have to deal with these remarks every time I look at the forums and I cry everytime. I don't want to have to ask for moderator inspection of your behaviour.
You were at manifest? O_o

Just letting everyone know that there will be a monthly on the 1st of September. I will update the OP when I know where the venue will be. It's looking like this venue will be permanent.

I think you should go ahead and make that update now, Jei. ;)

Shadowloo now has a permanent ground (it's called Shadowloo Headquarters -- SLHQ), and proposals are being made to dedicate a section of their facility to Smash.

This is great news for us, because once we are established in there, we will no longer need to carry TVs to local tournaments, ever again, under this arrangement.

They want to fill an area with 8 CRTs that are 68cm (preferably flat).

What they need from us is the number of 68cm flat CRTs that we currently have, to place in the SLHQ, so we can be ready for the September 1 start date.

So if anyone has a Smash CRT that meets the above requirements, post it here, so we can do a spot check.

The screen is flat. It's still an enormous box but the screen is flat.

At least I think that's what it means.

is the screen flat? then it's a flat screen
if it's curved, it's not a flat screen
if you still have trouble understanding this concept i encourage you to enroll in my 17 week course explaining the difference, only $499.95 concession

Is it possible to do a part-time version of your course over 34 weeks instead of 17?
To cram all this stuff into 17 weeks sounds like a bit too big of a workload for me.

My screen looks curved but it feels flat. Its sides are completely straight, however if I lie it on its back and put a marble in the center of the screen, the marble always rolls to a side and I cannot get it to balance without rolling down the TV.

All things considered I deem the information provided by this research as INCONCLUSIVE

interesting... there are some TV's that are really flat though (LCD screen inserted into a fat TV), but yeah if a marble rolls down off the screen, maybe it's not flat, i don't know, not that it matters anyways, any TV is all good haha.

regarding shadowloo i believe they're aiming for consistency and clean presentation, hence the 68cm flat screen rec

I just want to clarify something.

For the first game with your opponent, you obviously select your characters and then start striking to determine the stage.

But after the first game, do you,
A: Both select characters, ban a stage, select a stage.
B: Ban a stage, both select characters, select a stage
C: Ban a stage, select a stage, both select characters.
