Does anyone here either talk in their sleep or have funny stories of things they or others have said while sleeping?
I, personally, don't sleeptalk ever. Sometimes I won't make sense too much in the morning, but it tends to be explainable. Like one time my roommate tried to wake me up when I was sleeping through the alarm, and I thought it was his alarm going off instead of mine, so I was confused why he was waking me up.
However, I do have a ton of good sleeptalking stories, but I'll just post two.
The first is when my roommate was sleeping and I think I was either on Smashboards or doing a paper or something. All of a sudden he starts mumbling things in his sleep. Since I've heard him sleeptalk multiple times, I start trying to get him talking.
"What, Chad?"
"Put the gun down!"
I start laughing hysterically, but try to keep it as quiet as possible. He starts drifting back into sleep, but before doing so remarks, "I'm gonna punch you in the face..."
And the second one actually happened about an hour ago. My brother's spending the night in my dorm room on the floor, and I was on the computer or something. All of a sudden my brother wakes up and looks over at me. He looks completely awake and reasonable, but what comes out of his mouth isn't:
"We have to save the chairs," he says, sitting up. I immediately start laughing, figuring he's either faking it or that he'd realize soon that he was sleeping. Instead he reaches for the chair right next to him and starts pulling it closer to himself! Then he looks back at me, still laughing, and asks, "What?" as if his statement was something to be taken entirely seriously. Not wanting to confront him when he's sleeptalking (he's gotten angry at me before for reminding him that we were not in an elevator), I just say "Nothing, it's nothing."
He continues to look at me, completely seriously, and asks "But you know what I mean, right?"
"Yeah...sure" I respond, trying to get out of the situation. I find some excuse to go check where my roommate is at just to get out of the room for a minute, and he pulls the chair closer again and falls back asleep.
Tell your stories!!
