well I imagine fox is quite difficult, since he just ***** you.
so you might want to switch to falco against him.
until you get good enough to beat most Foxes with Zelda, even though they **** you.

i mean, you can only get so much better. zelda has nothing on fox, just literally nothing. at some skill level, a fox will beat any zelda just because she can't outplay him anymore. she doesn't have the tools.

I like to go falco against foxes. Sometimes I'll go puff, sometimes sheik. It depends on how the fox plays really (and what his strengths and weaknesses seem to be)

I tried to explain that to Kevin and he doesn't seem to get the idea of having no real options, or I'm to stupid to understand what he was trying to say which is more likely tbh.

Seriously though, of they camp it's game over, of they approach you can I guess space weird things and Bair -> dash attack -> react but any competent fox will just start platform camping and she's to slow to do anything about it. Sure fox is giving you control of the center when he's doing this but he's still the one controlling the pace of the match.

@lake: yea my ****ing roommate played sheik first match against me because he hates my Zelda so I just beat him in sheik dittos lol then he went fox... demoralizing... Then he went IC (main) and dis more handoffs than I could do kicks... But nice on 7th mah doo, me and you need to take EC by storm

I'm ranked as 5th best Zelda in the US?
I ****ing exploded. Gonna be working **** loads harder for at least top 3.

Whether the rank means anything to anyone or not, it means a lot to me.
Gonna be honest, I teared up. I've never been ranked in the smash community.

I've been of this mindset recently aswell. The only character I'm afraid of as Zelda is Fox.

he went fox first game, so i went zelda cause its free

then he went dreamland and i should have stayed zelda but i got cocky and went falco

then he went sheik...and i was like well i got this falco sheik is fre....and i lost lol

but anyhoot shiek > fox against zelda

like fox at least needs to be technically on point

and if you lose to foxes that arent well lol

I only use fox but I have experience in a ton of matchups because I use every character.

I've taught myself every character because I'm one of two players who plays competitively in my region, and the 2nd one hasn't even attended his first tourney yet. So aesir I know the mu so that when it comes up as fox, ill have a better idea of what to do.

I've only used Zelda in tourney once and that was a ditto last month in pools

and lol the elo is not complete yet, it will get more accurate over time, as more data is entered in... its really new, so yea... its not good yet.
Also players can only have one character on there, so like... Mango is listed as Falco, even though he's probably the best fox, and Javi doesn't have enough tournament information in there yet, so he's not ranked yet...
it'll get more accurate eventually though ^^

and lol I'm the number 1 pichu

Imo, ICG should be above me, but w/e, I'll take it ^^

Lol, the vast majority of the tournaments in my region aren't on there so it's just a bunch of regionals that i've attended where I lost to players wayyyy better than me. I must say that I really approve of the ranking system though (even though it's totally whack as of right now)

Edit: I just realized that number 6 (Gecko) is actually me since I entered one tournament under that name lol

For whatever reason the elo system has encouraged me to go to at least one more tournament before I retire/take a break from melee due to the fact that there is literally no one left in my area who plays smash and I have no form of transportation.

Just out of curiosity, how many zelda players live in michigan (if any)? I may be visiting this summer and it'd be really cool to smash with some people while I'm there.
