I would like to set aside some time and thank the Sheik thread for all of its advice. My Sheik is now 200% gayer, complete with needle gimps and tech-chase grabs from 0-43%.

peach and jiggs are the gayest. after using them for so long, i've realized they're clearly the most homo.
the gayest thing about sheik is the matchups--she has probably the best matchups overall in the entire game. all you need is the experience.
on similar topic, any opinions on the fox matchup? i seriously think sheik vs fox is even. stage selection might swing it to fox, but i still think it's really even now. i would much rather face fox than peach or ic's.

As an IC main who plays a lot of Sheik, I'm gonna have to say that Sheik destroys Ice Climbers, she is basically like Marth, except you just have to platform camp a lot, don't get me wrong Sheik has to play a very boring tight game, but its not too hard to win if you are willing to camp with a percentage lead and just punish us.
Also you can't spell peach without cheap, and umm she is easy to beat with Sheik. I dunno bout puff though, puff is a *****.

I mean.. although I only kinda play ICz I can't see platform camping being just overwhelmingly effective against them.
When I played Chu and although I am using a player outside of my league, had very little trouble using the platforms I was using to his own advantage.
And I was FOX a character that can easily out platform camp sheik.
ICz are very fast on the ground and their hitboxes aren't that bad.
Sheik vs Peach isn't really that bad and peach is very limited as a character (Compared to the top 6 or 7 characters).
I'm pretty convinced that peach gets ***** by sheik in general.
I think Jigglypuff isn't so bad either for sheik. I think I do need a little more experience however.

Fox, doesn't have needles, or the range that sheik has, Sheik jumps higher too.
At lower levels of play ICs should win, because its more possible to grab, but in high levels Sheiks spacing is just too much, if you don't *approach* ICs have a really tough time connecting with things vs almost any character, Sheiks fair just rocks out shield, and if we go off the edge kills us hard, her jabs and forward tilt make her difficult to grab, but its her needles that insure we have to approach her, and unlike falco her needles can hit both climbers so there is no wavedashing through them with nana.
You just have to camp intelligently to win. Thats really all there is to this match on that side, one mistake though and your probably dead.

wow.. i'm a big fan of the Sheik v Fox match up. But to say you'd rather fight fox than Peach is just WOW. Either you play insane Peach's or really bad foxes. But Sheik RAAAAPES peach. just tilt and throw needles.
also, i actually like FD + Green greens against fox because my tech chasing has been insane lately. so, maybe if you play a similar style , you'd like those. if you play super aggressive animal sheik, then Battlefield, FoD, pretty much any platform intensive stage will be your best.

with the peach matchup, my gameplay is completely dependent on grabs. i feel like that's the only way i can get a kill or even rack up damage. if i miss a grab, it's like 10-20% dsmash from peach. unlike against marth, all he can do is just dash around and grab me. but if i'm on the far side of a stage and peach dsmashes, it's touble.
i also think bc peach isn't very popular(compared to fox, falco, marth, cap, and sheik), anyone willing to use peach in tourny has a good chance of being solid. and of course, using peach myself, i find that she's a combo breaker and has an easy time edgeguarding sheik.

pssh, sheik v fox is not THAT bad. and fox isn't going to just let sheik charge needles. he's going to want to approach when he's that constant 18% is pushing him out of CC range.
and sheik can tech chase fox really well since Dthrow sends fox like.. nowhere.. idk. i'm trying really hard to make that match up look even. but Uthrow + Uair is soo gay. Fox's Bair is gay. Lasers don't really bother as sheik. but Nair > Shine.. ughh. Dair > Shine > Usmash Uggggggh
i think it's like 45:55 on FD, FoD, Dream land, Battlefield. like 40:60 on Stadium (if mountain terrain appears alot) and like 30:70 on Yoshi's Story <_<.
also, i'd say the match up is 60:40 on Brinstar because sheik has a decent Lava lock on fox. Space yourself with Bairs. and Full charged needles breaks the mold :D

I think its terrible. I don't see why foxes would be in so much danger cuz sheik has a full 6 needles...... it hurts yea but I'm pretty sure Fox can tack on more percent while you charge the needles...
Not only that but if Fox and Sheik both throw out their respective projectiles, Fox can SHL AND have enough time to shield ALL of sheik's needles. Fox has to be kinda far but if both players are trying to camp for damage.... this isn't a problem at all.
I mean.. unless you're off the stage but thats a different story....

Sheik and Fox both beat Ice Climbers, by about the same amount for different reasons, Marth and Peach beat them worse, but we are figuring peach out at least.
As for Sheik vs Fox, Sheik has crazy low damage gimps vs Fox, outranges him, and can do some crazy stuff out of grabs, technical Foxes have the advantage over lower leveled sheiks though because the level of difficulty for sheik is so high, her spacing has to be amazing, with tilts and with fairs, you can land a surprising amount of grabs by mixing up fair grabs and fair jab even against good Foxes, if Fox camps well though Sheik does have to approach, and he has some good combos on her as well, however if you use airdodge to recover from below the stage every once in a while you can manage to get back up, I like to utilt as soon as I land cause most foxes just stand up for the up b they expect and it will either knock them back to the ledge if they shield, or hit them twice cause they should be about inside of you.

To beat Fox, unleash the fury of a thousand bairs and grab him. Just make sure he dies when you land that grab though. Otherwise you might run into problems.

Im having some troubles with crouch cancelling opponets(especially Marth and Fox),they keep CC my tilts and sometimes I get punished very bad for that.Do you have any special advice to counter that?Or just being unpredictable?
