Meaning the final count is 85. I don't think any other fighting game can reach that high as Smash's record breaking collection.

Also, here is where Terry stands in the poster.

That would be a major troll on Bozon's part, especially after all the hinting he did only to be like "she's a spirit! lulz". I want Shantae in really bad, but if the fighters were chosen last year, I'm a little skeptical. Have hope for the bonus characters though.

Just in case how credible is this one user? Like I want to go into this carefully.

It definitely isn't Nakoruru, seeing as she got openly deconfirmed. Nor is it Tracer, since the fake Sept. 12 4Chan leak was bandwagoning off of the OW Switch carrying case/port. So that narrows it down some.

That would be a major troll on Bozon's part, especially after all the hinting he did only to be like "she's a spirit! lulz". I want Shantae in really bad, but if the fighters were chosen last year, I'm a little skeptical. Have hope for the bonus characters though.

Well, it is possible. Kirkhope had to basically hide the truth too.

We just don't know how far ahead WF planned 4D chess for their recent projects.

According to this page, he claims that the female character in question wears Japanese clothes. If he's correct, then I can't see any reason why it can be Shantae since her clothes are Middle Eastern in origin so, who else could it possibly be?

They knew about smash vr months in advanced, and also knrw hero wasnt getting any female alts, plus a few other things.

They only saw an early look at it right, or rather Mr. H did. Its possible that they couldnt tell?

Me too! Pocky in particular seems like a deep pull, seeing as people see Jack as Natsume's mascot a lot more.

I think they explicitly didn't give a number do they could leave things open to change. Like they probably have a number in mind, but if they told us that number they would be bond to it. This way they can do the work they want and if it ever stops being profitable enough or if time and schedules start conflicting, they aren't obligated to push themselves.

It's the smartest move on their part, but yes they did pluralize it, so they are beholden to at least two more after the pass.

I'm optimistic it will be more just because if the pace they are making right now. It seemed like Joker too forever, but since then they have been doing out faster and faster. The trailer promises Terry in November, which gives them the months to get the fifth character it before their initial deadline would be up. I wouldn't be surprised if number fine is out sometime in January.

They probably worked on Terry somewhere before the 3.1 patch. This could explain why they massively buffed the street fighter characters from almost nowhere during that patch and why they got a new gimmick in patch 4, the parry turnaround. A mechanic that got street fighter mains so badly, they said it made their characters legitimately broken (in a good way). Thus, whatever they did with Terry, they applied to these two characters.

Well unless its one of those obscurer 1dt parties, no one else fits. I thin Shantae's outfit could be misinterpreted in such a way by a less savy person of her character.

I'm still a little skeptical. Believe me, I'd love to be wrong--Shantae is my most wanted character--but right now she feels like more of one of those extra characters than a fighters pass character.

Going by the leak, the only character I can now think of that fits all of the leak's criteria is Sakura from Street Fighter but then again as with Geno, she isn't the main character.
