I must learn to middle hop my way to victory. Then pretend I'm doing an impersonation of hungrybox's jiggs.

yeah i see it alot more with sheik, marth, fox, but it seems like it would be good for falcon. he just so many good ways to tech chase! also those chars all have farther wavelands than falcon

I didn't realize the middlehop was such a **** thing, I did it like 2 months into my smash career one day when i was bored, but i didn't think it'd be of any use...
(No bull****, one of my friends main's luigi and i was like "Gay he can do an absurd number of aerials with his jumps, what can i do?)

You guys are making me want to play chess...I was in Chess club in high school, but thats been a few years now.

lol. I don't think Falcon is a character that can ever seriously get away with spamming one move over and over.

It would be if it could damage people. If only it worked like it did in Tekken. Just run over people's faces the whole time.

Just realized Falcon has so many good options after up throwing spacies to a platform...

high risk, high reward:
1) predict tech, jump over and stomp + knee
2) predict tech, short hop knee from below (doesn't work on dreamland)

low risk, low reward:
3) the mango style up-B (beats shields)
4) do a bunch of uairs from below

somewhere in between:
5) predict tech, usmash from below
6) waveland and regrab

And one I just thought of that might not work, but if it did, it would be brilliant... waveland onto platform and RAPTOR BOOST?! It seems like this would cover all options assuming you have enough time to set it up. If you whiff, you go flying off the platform and probably avoid getting punished. If you connect... jackpot.

I'm definitely gonna try this next time I play.

1. How is this high risk.

2. Battlefield you have to predict, but you can actually react on Yoshi's Island or Poke Stadium and it shield stabs incredibly well.

Low risk, mid reward imo.

omg what if you stomped a spacie in the middle of Battlefield and they DId it ALLLL the way to the right and you wavelanded onto the platform, grabbed and drop zoned them.

I'm pulling this off on CK next time and getting it recorded LOL

thats whack

i would prefer a stomp in the middle of battle field at high percent

NO DI

you double jump waveland onto the top platform

fsmash

that would be ****

or you grab>fsmash

idk something like that

@mikael

hax says the only way to beat jiggs is back air's so idk about what you said

doesnt back air have decent priority?

No, I definitely agree that bair is probably best, but I was just trying to warn against just hopping around like mad, bairing every second you can. Like, don't think you can just WOP people, sort of thing. You have to be choosy about when you bair (like pretty much everything else with Falcon).

Falcon sucks. How the f*ck do you beat pika? Its hard. The dude I'm playing got taught by pikachad.
The matchup is really really ****ty if you don't know how to play it. Just try and kill him early with a combo because you can't dthrow or uthrow knee him for KOs. don't get grabbed, be careful how you recover, and also be careful when you try to grab him because half the time his animations go under falcon's grab

if you need more help ask me on AIM, i play with axe semi-regularly

Must have been waaaay too long since I've played cause I forgot much Falcon fffin lags after uthrow.

So raptor boost.. meh, it still has a ton of potential as a tech chaser on the ground. Underused IMO.

no 'zero suit' is originally from the very first metroid technically since samus isn't wearing her suit when you get a good completion rate

the actual 'zero suit' (sexy skin tight blue suit) samus is originally from zero mission i think (which came out the same year as MP2 so i dunno which one came first lol)

Or if you use the password Justin Baily, or something like that.
