Furr's is generally a better Golden Corral. I think it's a bit more expensive too, but not much more.
It's also a busier Golden Corral. And we're going on a weekend.
Is this thing gonna go down Friday, then?

4 from coastal bend, 4 from houston, and x amount of SA, so quite a few people. If it's fairly busy and too much of a hassle, I'm fine with settling anywhere else.

I'm planning on going to Nike's on Friday, but probably not on Saturday/Sunday. So if you're planning food on Sat, I may or may not make it.

@Doll: Well now that you all are confirmed for sure, I just did so we're gonna get ingredients tomorrow, cook it Friday noon, and I'll bring it Friday night.
Right now planning to make 16. Just so you know, my mom always made hers along with jackfruit for flavor

Big Lou's Pizza, too bad it's way out of out the way to get there, 30 minutes away from where most of us live
For a group our size it would be ideal, but the convenience of getting everyone to meet up at the same time is bad at the moment.

Big Lou's would be a decent idea, but it's a drive away from everyone (not really a problem), is busy as all hell on the weekends (our SA group once spent 2-3 hours waiting to be seated because we went on a Saturday), and it's not a buffet (which I think is what we're going for for this).
