Ratios are pretty bad, kind of bad, he wears a tiara, and pretty hard to beat.

Auspher! How nice of you to visit the Olimar boards, what's up :D

edit: oh yea, here's a bunch of stuff I've been meaning to post all day

I got a purple pikmin lock earlier. I felt so ALIVE

Apparently dropping down through the platform on SV while it's out towards the edges desyncs pikmin often. I lost to a Falco I shouldn'tve because of this :(

I don't think I ever want to take Ike to PS1 ever again.

Tripping is balls.

Ike's grab near the edge + DA = gg.

That's all i can remember lol, i kept forgetting to post in between games :)

I saw the topic title while scrolling through the character threads, and thought I'd see the commotion you were stirring up. :p

up until the first mlg, everyone thought he was the best marth
and in melee neo was the best Roy in the world and a top player (he used marth also)

imo neo plays like m2k while haze plays like ally (one does frame trap I've done this a thousand times it works, the other reads and uses everything in their arsenal)

OH MY GOODNESS INCEPTION WAS SOOOOOOO GOOD!

edit: Oh yea, and I discovered today that dash attack clanks with Bowser's upB, not sure if this was known; I know it wasn't for DK's upB, so I figured I'd share just in case.

Just finished Durarara, I highly recommend it to anyone that likes anime at, all lol. IMO, best anime I've seen since Cowboy Bebop (but I'm a manga person, haha).

Having a stuck up, pompous prosecutor as your avatar is bad for your soul as well. Here, have some coffee :)

I could use some advice again: how do you handle a good Bowser? I was getting beaten pretty solidly by one yesterday and I felt bad about it; he said he used to play competitively and place well, so that made it better, but I still know I shouldn't have done that badly. A couple specifics:
-What do I do when he starts SHADing into Oli's bubble? I tried nairing his air dodge but it only occasionally landed - do I just need to time it later?
-What can I do if he starts Claw Camping? If you don't know what that means: I had gotten stock lead, and as opposed to his ordinary tactics he starting SHADing a lot and constantly throwing out Koopa Claws. After evading them for like half a minute he finally caught me -_- (This was on FD btw)
-It seemed like his jab and ftilt either match pivot grab range or even beat it. Am I mistaken or should I stop trying to pivot grab him?
I think those were the three things I had the most trouble with.

XD I know nothing about the Bowser Matchup, sadly. Who was the bowser, though? The only Bowser main we've had around here was Sliq but he plays every game that isn't brawl, now lol.

SHAD into you can easily be solved by nair/utilt since the multi-hits will hit him when he lands (every character is vulnerable for a few frames when they land from the air).

Bowser's jab/ftilt isn't disjointed, he extends his hurtbox. So that means you can grab that huge fist of his, so simply space your grabs even more if you expect a big Bowser fist coming your way.

Tried that, but then I hit a ledge and go "oh ****" :D
I think part of the problem was that it was FD and there weren't many places to go to. I mean he has a HUGE danger zone all around him, so getting past that with my back against a ledge was hard to do. And I can't remember who it was actually

FD is an amazing stage against bowser or any slow as **** char. Just camp your *** off and Bpivotgrab when he tries to close the distance.

Bowser is just gonna throw out a bunch of claw **** to scare you, just be patient, then hit him. With the shad, idk just pivot grab, or WALK away and fsmash. I've never really played a **** bowser before, any bowser I've ever played I just heavy combo to death.

Guys, did you know that nair AND dtilt beats falco's sideB ._. This means we can either chase them off stage and get free nair damage, or wait at the very edge and dtilt (credit to logic for inspiring this idea) and when it pops them up it's a free fair (or even a spike if they are at the right height). And if they recover low enough so they sweet spot the ledge, we can just grab the ledge.

The benefit of being able to nair falco is that we can chase him off the ledge with other moves because he now loses his ability to just sideB safely if we chose to chase him offstage.

I also realized you pretty much wanna be around fsmash distance at most times against Falco, don't close that gap if you don't have to, even if he appears vulnerable.

Falcos jab....... Still workin on that one >.<

I'll keep working on Bowser.

I knew about nair and utilt, but did NOT know about the dtilt. It seems a lot more risky since it's hitbox doesn't last as long as utilt's or nair's, but i imagine it's quite doable with quick reflexes; possible free spike is too good of an opportunity to ignore :) Nice one Rich

I have only slightly above average reaction time, so when it comes to hitting Falco's sideB I tend to predict it. I'm ALMOST able to react, so if I'm a little quicker I can really start tearing up that move.
