Also Vocal, I change my avatar once every few months and lately it's aleays been movie related. So I put on Buzz since I recently saw Toy Story 3.

You're supposed to go from "bright-eyed rookie cop" to "crooked cop" over a series of months. Don't rush through the progression.
And I already have about ten other things that I promised to do but will probably never get around to.
Like finishing that pluck percentage stuff that I told Hilt I would do something like a year ago. ^^;

Olimar Boards Mafia!
Alright, some of you have heard of the forum game, "Mafia". There's a section in Smashboards dedicated to playing this game, with several games running at once. It's also played on other forums, in instant messenger clients, even in real life! Well several of the Olimar Mains are interested in playing the game, some of which are entirely new, some of which aren't. So I decided to start a thread seeing how much interest we can get in it!

If you have questions, you can ask me or someone else specifically, or in this thread. I'm going to have to humbly request two things for people that sign up
1) Make sure you will be active! One day in mafia is going to last exactly ten real life days. I will extend the day if there is a large request for it, but only once per mafia day. If you go forty-eight hours without posting, you will receive a "prod". If you recieve three prods, the next one will earn you a modkill. You are allowed to replace out of the game if there is someone willing to serve as a replacement. However, I'd like to keep from having to do this if possible. So make sure you only join if you know you're going to have the drive to play.
2) I'm going to try to focus this around the Olimar Boards, and our community. While I don't mind having other players join, I would like at least two thirds of our players to be our regulars. I will refuse entrance at my own discretion.
Also, if you are interested in more mafia games, check out the Decisive Games sub forum of Smashboards. They have games running constantly, and signups for two games going on at all times. The community is great and there are both veterans of the game, and players that are new, such as some of you.
The game I'll be running in here will, most likely, be a nine player game. It will be a simple setup, so as not to confuse anyone. If there is enough interest after this, I'll probably end up running another afterwards!

Sorry, forgot to mention that. The Day Phase will last ten real days, and the Night Phase will last two real days. Night phases are generally shorter because they don't have much of any discussion. Night phases will be shortened if everyone sends in their night actions, although it won't be shorter than 24 hours.

Xiivi: Much like how the Wolf Boards weren't allowed to host a mafia game; ALL character boards cannot. The only rooms allowed to host mafia games are:
Decisive Games, Social Rooms [BRoom, DRoom, LoDK, Regional Social Rooms].
So yeah, we're not going to be able to have the thread directly in this character board, but I'm going to create a social group for it. The basis was that each character board is only suppose to have one social thread, and that this would count as one. I could also host the game on another site such as Allisbrawl. It'll be difficult to run the game in a social group, but it's still possible. I also merged this into the social thread so we can keep the topic active. This could be a good opportunity to create an Olimar Social Group as well, since they'd just recently changed the features in social groups.
