You're so lucky, I've still got a paper to turn in Monday and a final a week after that :(

Finals week for me. Showed up to class yesterday, forgot about a 12 page paper being due due. Typed it ULTRA fast without her noticing and turned it in before the end of class. Made an 83, Like a boss.

Fino, if you're looking down from wherever you are, I'm sorry. I've disappointed you, I've let you down. I'm picking up Toon Link.

Not sure if it's been mentioned here, but if you ever play on the FD texture of "Stormy Destination", then you won't pluck any reds and blues will be more common. So if you're in tourney (because most people bring textures anyway) and that shows up, make sure to quit the match, take the SD card out, exit the character select screen, and then go back and start the match.

FYI, I'm talking about this stage:

Yeah I noticed that, when someone had it in a tournament awhile ago and we took the textures off when I played off of it. I didn't know you could change terrain until this, haha.

It had some good characters (just villains lol) but that was it. Rest of the game was terrible. First two Paper Mario games were by far my favorite Mario games. Paper Mario should be a character in Brawl :(

They've already got one two dimensional character - why not add a second?

And in other news: SFIV is so terribly complicated! A friend of mine recently got SSFIV and I was going through trial mode with Juri, one of the new characters, and the double-jointedness necessary to pull off some of those combos is rediculous! It's practically impossible without a broken thumb! Part of why I like smash - it's about gameplay, not overly complicated button inputs. (Ok, so some things can be complicated, but at least each button only does one thing [mostly].)

Melee takes WAY, WAYYYYYYYYY, faster hands than SSF4. SF4 is dumbdowned alot compared to the other ones. It's not even that hard. Juri takes fast hands because she has a custom combo ultra, but SSF4 is more about timing than anything.

Play Ryu, he's ******** easy.

It takes faster hands to play, but say, for instance, to do an upsmash you have to press one button (not counting how you actually set it up) as opposed to 20 to do moves in SF. Exaggeration, but I like a 1-1 ratio, and smash comes a lot closer to doing that (Brawl more than Melee).

Ok, how about this: I like Smash more because people create combos as opposed to doing combos that have been built into the game. Not saying there aren't some that are built in , I'm sure the developers do that. But in SF ALL combos are premeditated. As in if the developers of SF didn't specifically intend for something to combo, it won't, and those are the only combos you can do. Whereas in Smash, part of the development of the scene is the discovery of new combos, less so in Brawl where combos are rare, but it is still existent. I'm fairly sure developers didn't specifically intend for the Ken combo to work and be a part of gameplay, but it does and it is.
