You know, I've always wanted some pokemon based on super heroes. I remember years ago I've made a fakemon trio based on Marvel heroes: Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Wolverine lol. But yeah, we'll just have to wait on this one. But I'd like to see Mewtwo get in first as well.

When I think of the word super hero, I actually think more of the DC universe than Marvel.

Got bored and actually was able to Google a link to that 4Chan thread, looking through it, I'm calling this one a fake. It's way too early for Corocoro, the issues themselves usually come out the 2nd/3rd week of each month, the last issue came out two weeks ago. How they obtained the "info" is also a tad too sketchy.

But like always, it's better to wait on Serebii to call this one. The Pokemon, design wise, sounds kinda boring if you ask me.

Same here, I wouldn't trust the rumor (since 4Chan is an unreliable source) and its best to wait for further official sources such as Serebii.

In less than three weeks the next issue of CoroCoro should be released, which should give us our first peak at the first major movie Pokemon of Generation 6. That will probably be the last major thing for us to discuss before Smash 4's release.

Other possible "new stuff" to discuss before E3 would be Pikmin 3 (and its new protagonists) if that game manages to be released before E3 2013 (which it should).

Regardless, this is pretty much going to be the last of the "calm before the storm". When Smash 4 is finally unveiled we are going to see an unprecedented amount of activity that we never throughout this entire Smash 4 speculation period. Assuming that Smash 4 releases during Q4 2014, this "reveal" period will last about the same amount of time as Brawl's did, 1.5 years. Despite that number seeming quite low compared to how long we have been waiting so far, its going to be seem far, far longer than the past several years due to how much more discussion and activity will be taking place during this new epoch.

so i just had my first smash 4 dream guys, lemme tell ya about it!
somehow i got hired by nintendo of japan, and as i recall the only reason for this was to find out info on smash lol. so anyways im being trained and crap and after my mentor asks if i have any questions i ask about smash. he pulls out a binder/catalog thing and flips through to a page and hands it to me. guess what i saw.....Super Smash Bros Yarn!!!!!!!!!! lol i was sooo dissapointed at that moment. as for character i saw, i only saw the "models" of Ness and Pikachu (which looked kinda cute as they looked similar to sackboy) and get this....a few kindom hearts characters thrown in. yep. SO glad that was a dream.

I remember having a dream of smash 4 twice. ....

The first occasion I was playing and saw the full roster. This dream was about a year ago, but it had characters from fairly odd parents. ... I haven't watched that show in years. I was very relieved when I woke up.

The second, the reviews were subpar. and the game was out but I didn't have it which is odd because I will reserve it. ... yeah that was it

A couple nights ago I dreamt that I was talking about Smash 4 with this guy. He said that Shulk has the highest priority than anyone to get in. After Shulk, it's some other character, I think Pit? Then Roy. When I woke up and I was like dafuq?

Just had a Smash 4 dream myself. I don't remember much of it, though, and it was really vague. All I remember was that there was something about Chrom and Lucina, though I can't remember if they were both playable or not.

I remember having a smash bros dream once, It was before Brawl came out. It was a battle between Peach, Kirby, Ness and someone else I can't remember. And they were on the battlefield stage.

The weird part was that the Ness in my dream looked EXACTLY like the one in Brawl and I had that dream before Ness was revealed.

Maybe once we know what the next smash Bros looks like once it get's shown this E3 I'll be able to picture how most of the unconfirmed character's may look like if they were playable...

We may get a trophy or stage that is yarn themed (Maybe the characters turn into yarn on that stage but that's unlikely) But I don't think the entire game will be based on that. Don't worry. ^^

I remembered having a N64 smash bros dream a few years ago it was on dreamland and i believe there was 4 luigis and for whatever reason i think one of a abraham lincoln head with the hat and all lol it was pretty weird

I only remember a dream I once had that Mewtwo returned. But he was overpowered like how MetaKnight totally destroys Ganondorf in Brawl, but against basically anyone. He also had enourmous range, and F Air was about the strongest killing move in the game as I could remember.

Well, I lie, I do recall having some Banjo-Threeie dreams when I was younger.

But it's rare. My most bizarre dreams have been the Superman/DBZ dreams where I dream I can fly. Or the Spiderman dreams where I dream I can shoot web and swing like Spiderman.

I've had some strange dreams. Lately most of my dreams have either been about my family, my job, or some other bizarre inexplicable things that are related to what's on my mind...

Oh and I won't even get into some of those OTHER dreams I've had as well...

Anyway, I dunno. In retrospect, it seems kinda odd to dream of a videogame that's gonna come out soon. I think you guys need to take a break from this place if that's the case. Maybe find another game to take up your time or something. If you're at the point you're dreaming of Smash Bros, I think it might be on your mind so much, you're setting yourself up for disappointment.

Then again, most of you are in Highschool and such I assume, and that's when I dreamt of playing Banjo-Threeie.

The only character I tried out was Jimmy T. whose moveset who hilarious and consisted of all dance moves as attacks. Mii also had a bar at the side of the character selection screen of which if you tapped it a window would pop up with all your Miis to select.

You might very well have had a dream that was totally awesome, and inspiring you to climb the Mount Everest in your naked *** but if you can't remember it- that's it. It's basically your own imagination trolling you.

Is it weird that I keep a dream journal? I have this Smash 4 related dream that I wrote on May 28, 09. I'm too lazy to fix grammar mistakes, but here it is. I hope some one gets a laugh out of it.

Me and my friend was playing Super Smash Bros. 4 on the Wii. I used an Action Replay. We were battling on Green Greens #2! My friend picked Clefairy. I wanted to be it, but I picked Lickilicky. We were on a team and battling 3 Nesses. I used this cheat code. When two players collided into each other, they would explode and then go flying out of the camera. And that's what happened. Then I used this other cheat code. The three cpu Nesses were trapped by three brown triangles on their right, left, and above them. The triangles were acting like a barrier. The 3 Nesses were fighting each other in the trap. I was laughing. FIN!

But anyway. Sometimes I want to have dreams about certain things. That's why I'm trying to practice to lucid dream. Heh, even my psychology prof encourages it and he apparently can. He's a psych prof, why am I not surprised lol.

Yeah it was pretty freaky. I don't remember much in that dream. It was just a static image with the character's standing on each platform of Battlefield (Maybe the other character was Pikachu or Yoshi I don't know) They looked ready to battle but my shock of seeing Ness there woke me up quickly. How trollish. XD

It may have been all this "up until now" deal that was going on back then that I couldn't believe seeing Ness there.

Same here. Ness has always been my second main in Melee and my top player in Smash 64. So I was happy this whole "up until now" fiasco had finally ended when that leak with Ness, Jigglypuff and Lucario showed up and Ness continue's to be my second main in Brawl. :D

The only other notable Smash Bros. dream I had was for a "Super Smash Tennis". Basically it was a tennis game in the style of the Mario Tennis series by Camelot only with Nintendo characters. I remember reading a forum about the game just having been released, and that they hacked the game, and they found that Mewtwo and Roy were basically near-complete characters, and speculated they may be future DLC

There were screen shots of them. Mewtwo basically psychically held his tennis racket, while Roy had a tennis racket that looked kind of like the hilt to the Sword of Seals. There was a screenshot of Roy hitting the tennis ball, and there were fire effects.

For some reason I just always liked Ness. Probably because he was so unexpected once I unlocked him in Smash 64. I live in the UK and as you know, Earthbound was never released in Europe so I never played his games. Yet I liked him a lot because he was so... out there... to me.

Then he just stuck around for me. Then around Brawl's time I finally got to play Earthbound (Through a rom though) and loved it and to this day I'm hoping for them to give it an official release for Europe someday.

So yeah, I just like Ness because he was just totally unexpected. In fact I tend to like Unexpected character's more than expected one's (Besides the ones I root for).

Oh maan, this reminded me how much I want Camelot to do Golden Sun Tennis. But this ain't a bad idea either. I'd love me some more tennis from Camelot if it wasn't for Mario Tennis Open which basically streamlined it as a whole.

Speaking of Lip, I remember having dreams about Lip being part of some part of trio along with Little Mac and Takamaru. The team doesn't have a name, but each team member gives it a different name, which causes conflict and becomes a running gag. Namely Lip calls it "Team Sunshine Rainbow" but Little Mac prefers to call it "Team Thunder Fists", while Takamaru sarcastically calls it "Team Baka Manzai" in reply to both of them.

Little Mac= Rash and hot blooded, slightly book dumb.
Takamaru= Wise and quiet with little tolerance, sarcastic towards the other team members out of frustration.
Lip= Naive and hyper, gets easily distracted by adorable thing.

Anyway, the team formed because they wanted a new leas in life... which is easier said then done since the team is pretty incompetent. They have tried being fire fighters, police officers, carpenters, doctors, chefs, lawyers, plumbers, detectives etc. But for one reason or another, it goes up in flames (sometimes literally) every single time. They eventually settled for a more logical choice of being part of Super Smash Bros., since it's the only thing that allows them to shed some blood without getting yelled at.

I'm a little different than that, cause I've been rooting for Diddy so long. Was actually kind of disapointed the unlockable silluette from 64's Smash wasn't Diddy, but Ness. So guess that kinda held me back from using him much, but basically... I only used 2 characters in 64 anyway, Pikachu and Donkey Kong.

Even when Melee came, and I finally got to play EarthBound, I still didn't liked Ness style in Melee. Yet felt PK Flash was kinda awesome. Felt he didn't draw much from his EarthBound self, which dissapointed me somewhat. Plus, already had enough 'low tier mains' namely: Donkey Kong and Mewtwo. Nowadays I stick to Ganondorf, Marth and Sheik. Yes, Sheik...

In Brawl, I basically use everyone when I'm bored of Diddy. Diddy's nr.1, then comes DK, but afterwards, I play a lot of characters. Link, Samus, Ness, Ganondorf, Sheik, Pikachu, Ike and Marth mostly.

I've been meaning to keep a dream journal myself as well. I've had a lot of dreams that would make for a damn good plot, I just don't have the time to write in the mornings.

Oh, btw. Careful with Lucid Dreaming and that sort of stuff. Personally I've experimented with Meditation and Astral Projection. Have never been able to achieve the latter, though I've talked with people who have.

On Tulpas, don't mess with that. You'll go crazy.

On Lucid Dreams, word of advice, when you Lucid Dream don't ever look in a mirror while you dream. You'll regret it thoroughly. The mind is MUCH more powerful than you think, and your subconscious hides much more than you're consciously aware of.

I agree, that's why I don't see it too far-fetched that that rumor could have some weight behind it. Also, we've had Bisharp who has some Kamen Rider inspiration and IT is Steel/Dark. A Dark/Fighting Kamen Rider/Ultraman Pokemon isn't too crazy. Especially since we have Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee and other interesting things as Pokemon. It being Dark/Fighting fits the Kamen Rider theme perfectly.

Those saying that a Superhero Pokemon makes them think of Superman and should be Flying/Fighting, stop for a second and think of what the Japanene think makes a Superhero and what Westerners think makes a superhero.
