Given that Donkey Kong and Metroid are the only Nintendo titles not shown confirmed by that NeoGAF leak, I wonder what are the chances now that Retro is working on one of those two titles?

I think it's pretty much a given that Retro is working on Donkey Kong or metroid like I've said 3 times already.
Being that they are the only two games not revealed that were on that list like I've also said already, and being that they have history with both of those series, means that's probably what they're doing and we'll probably see which one at E3

Oh no, I forgot about that Diddy Kong racing rumor and it's crappy roster. To be fair though, the Diddy Kong Racing rumor was leaked by a different source than the person that "leaked" the roster, so perhaps one is right and the other wrong? I don't know, but if this means I get Metroid Prime 4... There are no words...

SO excited for E3 now. Smash Bros has been confirmed to have an appearance this year, i'm sure you all know that though. I'm just really excited.

I've also been told that Monolith Soft is making another game (evidently like Xenoblade). If this is a true sequel, how much do we think that would boost Shulk's chances?

FE4 got a remake?

Technically FE3 is the cherished game in the franchise, not that FE4/5 aren't great in their own right. Off the top of my head it was the best selling game in the franchise while it stayed Japan only (I don't remember which game beat it) and is the highest rated game in the franchise. Heck FE13 selling so well probably has something to do with it being a direct sequel. FE4/5 however are seen as the cherished games in the franchise by the diehard FE fans who've imported/emulated them.

Not sure if people are going to fight me on this, I really don't care, I gotta go to another class anyway.

Like I said, Sakurai could be tempted to give that Toon Zelda idea of his a second look. I think a luigi-fied clone Zelda newcomer is more likely than a one-shot character like Ghirahim.

From what I know the die-hards in Japan are for FE3, while die-hards in the West are for FE4.

Then again like I said, don't cite me on any of this, it's all off the top of my head. But while we're on the subject FE12 isn't nearly as good as FE3 from what I've played so far.

It seems like it will at least have the Xeno prefix based on the huge red X at the end of the trailer. There's also a character who strikes a similar appearance to Shulk.

Holy hell that game looked beautiful. Cannot wait.

Oh God pinch me I must be dreaming. My most favourite Zelda game getting an HD remake... HELL YES!!!

I wonder if this means that Sakurai will give Toon Zelda and (it better have been) Tetra a second look and make them playable this time. I wouldn't mind that even if they were (hopefully) Luigified clones. Toon Link looked a little lonely in Brawl anyways. ^_^ Plus I would love to see him go up against Skyward Sword Link in smash 4.

That is, if Sakurai actually brings Toon Link back for Smash 4. I can at least see the Pirate Ship stage returning now.

^^Would be pretty dumb of them not to. If FE13 DLC is any indication, we have nothing to worry about.

Was already betting on Toon Link and this affirms by belief even more (not that it really matters Toon is the same thing as Young anyway). Also if they use the model from the HD remake I cannot even begin to imagine what Smash 4 could look like.

Fun fact: With Yoshi Wii U being released now that leaves F-Zero as the only franchise without a new title since Brawl. Star Fox had Star Fox 64 3D, MOTHER is complete, and the retro franchises are pretty self-explanatory.

More reason why I don't think Samurai Goroh or Black Shadow is going to happen. The only way I can see Black Shadow happening is if Sakurai gives Ganondorf his own moveset, but wants another character in to placate the people who loved Ganondorf's Melee/Brawl movesets. The only way I can see Samurai Goroh in is as some sort of clone of Takamaru. Either way, I don't see a second F-Zero character as a priority for Sakurai due to the series likely have been on hiatus for a decade by the time Smash 4 releases.

To each their own. I happen to like FE12, and I find it more enjoyable than FE3.
