Yeah, E3 is gonna be awesome this year, with 3D Mario, Mario Kart, Retro's game, more content shown from these games, and of course, Smash. Possibly even some more surprises.

Also, I looked at the SMT X FE trailer again, noticed non-lords Sothe, Elincia, and Lilina were there. I also noticed both FE2 lords and all three of the Jugdral lords (Sigurd, Celice, and Leaf) were absent. I did not see Hector either.

Looks like FE2, FE4, and FE5 get shafted yet again.

Also, Star, where was Shulk hinted at in the Monolithsoft trailer?

EDIT: And Caeda and.....oh crap....Micaiah. Great, we're not going to hear the end of it from DragonSniper.
Then again, we got Roy, Chrom, and Lucina in it too, so that cancels it out.

I just hope that the sailing is shortened in The Wind Waker HD... meaning they moved the islands closer to each other. That was the one issue I had with the original. Oh, and I hope I don't have to use the Wii Remote + Nunchuk to play it.

And I also hope that Ganondorf is decloned in SSB4, hopefully styled after Toon Ganon with dual swords from The Wind Waker. He was awesome - strong and fast - which is just what he needed after his poor performance in Brawl.

Yeah, those lords weren't there (well, Hector was, he was at the back), but they could still be in the game. For the non-Japanese trailer at least, it makes sense why they wouldn't exactly be used significantly in promotion.

I think they showed someone who looked like Shulk at the end, though my stream kinda sucked by that point, so I could be mixing things up.

I am almost positive Nintendo is trolling Fire Emblem fans who are SSB4 speculators. They got Marth, Roy, Ike, Chrom, and all the popular female lords (Lyn, Micaiah, Caeda, Lucina) in both Awakening and this crossover game. Nintendo must be laughing at the fans going nuts over who's gonna be in SSB4.

Just got out of class, probably missed the party but here are my thoughts:

@Monolith Soft: Dinosaurs and Robots in an RPG? Shut up and take my money.

@Fire Emblem: Never played Shin Megami Tensei, but it looks like another good random match up like Marvel & Capcom or Pokemon & Nobunaga's Ambition. The trailer seemed kinda lazy though.

@Smash Stuff: So basically it's going to be Nintendo's trump card at E3, just like we had predicted?

Also Yoshi's Epic Yarn? And HD Wind Waker? If I remember correctly I think at one point there was a rumor of the latter happening.

Personall, my theory on the game is that

this game is set in the new land that Shulk created after Xenoblade. It is in the early stages of evolution (judging by the dinosaurs), and Shulk will probably play the role of Zanza in this sequel, except probably not twisted.

Also, that statement makes me both nervous and excited. In terms of Nintendo characters, he barely has anything left that could top Brawl.

So could it mean he has loosened up in regards to third-party characters? Or perhaps plans to include non-game based characters? Goku and Batman confirmed for Smash 4.

Shin Megami Tensei is an amazing franchise and it's very difficult.

He didn't say Brawl specifically, that was just my hyperbole. All he really says is that the announcement was made this early because fans patience has worn thin, but at E3 we'll get reveals.

this Nintendo Direct didn't disappoint.

First images (and probably a trailer, too) of Smash Bros. 4 on E3. I am really looking forward to see them.

That Wind Waker remake looks beautiful. As WW was my first Zelda game, it will be great replaying it again.
That SMT - FE crossover was unexpected, but looks interesting (reminds me of Pokémon Conquest, obviously). I never played a SMT game, but I'm looking forward to it anyway.
Hope the new Mario Kart doesn't disappoint.

They had good looking games to show today. Maybe the Wind Waker remake will mean that Toon Link may be back for SSB4?
