I want a new QUALITY series, too. The Wonderful 101 is a good start; now let's see more new IP's that can carry some weight.
Still, a new Zelda would be great, especially if it was a 3D Zelda game that put as much emphasis on exploration as 2D Zelda games. Seriously, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword are ridiculously linear, their overworlds feel "empty," and there is literally noting but collecting to do after you beat the game. Nintendo needs to take a clue from Western RPGs, and create a much bigger overworld (that isn't empty space), and make loads and loads of epic side quests and awesome locations, side dungeons, and events (can we get some at least small-scale battles in Zelda?). I mean, how awesome would it be that while riding Epona, a freaking giant Bobolin or whatever shows up with his army of 20+ soldiers (on similar animals, whether horses, pigs, etc) to fight you. And, as a reward for beating him, you get perhaps some of his stuff.
but the new Tomb Raider does look like its gonna be ok. but like any other game ill wait about a month for the reviews and what not to come out.
I don't buy it. There's been too much gaming media paying off (no really, follow the money trail on how much they put into "converting" the gaming media on it) for it to be good IMO. Plus, that whole **** scandal is just dirty, and Lara is still more of a sexual possession than a character. Even her creator hates it. It's like she's gone backwards in character development since her inception.
