The only thing is (my friend plays pit all the time) don't get too predictable with that Fsmash because a good sonic player (me, or any other good dodgy type) can really punish ya.

Edit: on a final note, be careful when recovering with that Up B. People will take advantage of that and send you falling to your doom. Use those jumps to stay High and approach from above, since you already have great aerial priority.

Thank you i respect that but on my defence on wifi my moves carry out differently i to and only use UP B as a last resort when recovering and i take my time... Except on that ground when i Up B'd a couple of times... i was trying to wing push.. But thank and some day i would like to play your sonic if you have wifi

I'll hold off on any comments until I see some non-Wifi matches. ^_^

Nope. I don't have Wifi, but if it makes you feel better, you'd probably win, since I can rarely beat my freind as sonic, even though it's really just priority issues.

Meh. 4/10. i saw absoluetly no tilts. spammed smashes(diminishing f-smash too early makes it even harder to kill)and you dont spot dodge efficiently. another thing to watch out for is you jump into the enemies shield when you aerial causeing u to get shield grabbed(happended alot with olimar)

but dont take my word for it. goto a big tourney, and see where you place, thats the only way you'll know how good you are.

The Main Problem is that his moves are predictable. I knew for the most time what he will do as next.

Lucario: On other problem is your fighting style against Olimar & Pikmin. You should not go to close, it can really stack up the damage easily. It would be better if you try to find a good share of Arrow Spamming/Angel Ring and timed attacks to kill it. On the other hand, this Olimar-Gamer was really weak imo, he had for the most time no controll over the character.

Actually I'm surprised that you had some problems with this wolf-player. One good tactic to approch from the sky is a well timed using an Angel Ring out of Glide (Glide, Attack, Angel Ring) just before he will reach you. One more thing, don't by shy to use arrows. Just fake every second or third arrow and he will lower his guard. Works everytime with my friends, they become unsure in their actions.

Thank you i aprectiate the constructive criticism but on my defence when playing that olimar it was merely a fun match, nothing too serious. Also i have many friends that play olimar i understand the timing of the moves and i tryed to pressure him seeing as though he require pikmin also i would to play one of you to see how i compare to such knowledgable players. Also i enjoyed the sarcasm kown and i did own you today :]

I'm giving my honest opinion on this one. You get an 8/10 from me. You held your own against the Olimar, and had such good defense. You, yourself are pretty tricky, and my way of Tricky is different than yours. I'd wish I was a known factor, but you are pretty lucky.

Also, I think I perform better on wifi (Lagless of course) than regular battles, but that is because I dont have many ppl to battle which are somewhat of my level.

However, I'd really would like to see how you fair against me, for I wield a large Arsenel of mindgames and Aerial capabilities, as well as other various combat techniques. I'll be waiting to face you, and pray that we dont get disconnected by the evil error Code 86420.

YOUR wing-shoving isn't great? Nay - wing-showing isn't great. In fact, it's useless. Would you rather shove them back or hit them? You tell me. Look forward to playing you again (without Snood AKA lag).

I am being very critical so don't be offended.

I too would like to see a non wifi match. Over all three matches I would give you a 6/10. First I want to say that your opponent was not very aggressive at all (may be his style choice). I would have like to see some edge gaurding and attempts to gimp your Up B as well as interfere.

He had a lot of chances to gimp you with WoI because you used it too late. One time you were very close to edge and decided to drop to the death line before using WoI to recover. Speaking of recovery, I like the jump arrows (I do it also) but you need to mix it up.

There was one time where you were missing the arrows and wasting jumps. Doing it when you are fairly close to the edge with a good guarantee of making it back is one thing. Doing that when you are near the kill zone on the left is not a good idea. You most likely would have died if your opponent guarded the edges better.

You should have glided in that situation. Speaking of gliding, I was holding my breath when you decided to glide under Smashville on your last jump.

One last thing about recovery. I think you should get into the habit of using WoI to grab the edge instead of jumping. Using WoI close to the edge enables the auto snap feature thus protecting you from edge guarders.

Moving to spacing, you rolled way more than you should have especially in the first match. Using rolling as a spacing option is not good because it makes you vulnerable. Even if you don't have wingdashing down, running is a better alternative. You could have continued a combo but the roll towards him gave that up.

The next step I would say is mindgaming. A couple of fake outs with your approach is good to keep you at bay while seeing what he does, then capitalizing on his mistakes. Then you can get aggressive and start with the combo. Even though Mind games won't make or break the matches against that player, it is good to get into the habit. Set a goal of being untouchable and pulling off great combos.

Also, I saw almost no grabs. Grabs are great combo starters because it makes you in control at that time. I love it so much that I get punished for missing a grab, then try for another and another until I get one. I have to control that.

I loved the control you had with Pit in the first match and I would like to see more of it.I also liked your tether edge gaurding. I don't know if it was because of characters you were facing or not. That was a great match and you showed an 8/10. I also liked your tether edge gaurding. The other two were a bit more spammy and timid. You didn't seem like you were in control of the match.
Keep up the good work though and I'm sure you will be a great Pit.
I don't know how much lag contributed. I hope this didn't sound harsh, but I think this will help you out. :)

it looks like you're using pit's moves right but.. umm... am i the only person who saw that whenever he put the shield up... it lead to a roll or a spot dodge?... and 90% after the roll/spotdodge it was a forward/down smash =_=... i think you need start using those out of shield moves cuz high level players would have eaten up your rolls and spot dodges.

i'll just leave it at that since it's a wifi match. i'll rate you on your next offline match =] keep playing.

In the jawn, with the jawn.
So much better in a non wifi match. Couldn't do as much wing shoving, plus the Olimar was pretty sad no offense but you need some work.

Wolf was better but still needs work

i'd give you a 6 on wifi but we'll try to record a real fight sooner or later.

1/10 in all honesty. I mean... you can certainly find much worse players, but none of those guys put up videos.

The most major thing that stands out, and this applies to all characters equally, Pit-specific stuff aside--Is there a reason you approach with roll dodges all the time? No matter what character you're playing, that's not a good habit. At all. Try going to a real tournament (there should be some nearby, I mean... you might as well be East Coast) and you'll see what I mean. People will punish it. Especially any MK or R.O.B. with half a brain and the ability to press down on the c-stick.

I'd try to be more constructive if you weren't such a ****-talking jerk in other threads, BTW. You have no place doing that, you know. Despite my unyielding hate for WiFi and my vow to never play it like... ever... I may take you up on a match whenever you get the chance. Might be a learning experience. PM me or something tomorrow. I'm going to bed for now. :ohwell:

He does pretty well against me, and I'm not an easy opponent. And I dont think Doctor X is helping. And even though many complain that the matches were not offline matches, you still gotta give him credit. I myself prefer online matches (i have my reasons) and for some reason I perform better on wifi matches (without lag of course), but that maybe because of either ability, instinct, or adaption. Whatever that fuel of power is, it has given me benefits.
Anyways I have enjoyed Sir Lucario's matches here, as well as the matches that he has given me.

since you like wifi i now know why you and sir lucario are good friends. i hope you don't roll around as much as Sir Lucario does. lmao thats why he likes wifi.

Lets say the person he played had intense lag. would you still give him credit? just wondering.

This thread isn't going to turn into an argument over Wifi vs. Offline is it...?

Well regardless I'm not sure it's a good idea. Topics such as that belong in the Brawl forums. However if you want to make a thread about Wifi practicalities with Pit... I'm sure it would become a hot topic.

Ive only seen your first match. But only thing that i noticed was you smash like alot. Pits Fsmash is already pretty weak in knock back, i wouldnt think it would be such a good i idea to use it to build damage. Its like a double edge sword, it may help build up damage faster maybe, it also means u have to build up even more damage to kill to make up for your attack getting weaker.

Im not sure if u did, but on ur last glide it looked like you glided on ur last jump, which to me is a bad idea incase u miss the edge or cant get back over the stage, u may fall to ur doom with no way to recover.

Other then that it was pretty good.

This guy is good. I thought I was going to destroy him when CTK told me he wanted to play me. When he started doing Pit's AT's on my *** like master, he had me thinking, "Ctk went to go get sagemoon on me!"
