Look Ksizzle I did not say you aren't one of the best Lucario's because obviously you are & have established that reputation since brawl's release.

I know I'm new to the scene coming in 2009 but I do know that things change along with time. You can agree with me that you have been using the majority of mk & falco in tournaments recently.

What are my recent tourneys? PSI 2 where i went all falco to experiment and took 13th as a result. then before that, mk and lucario where i beat ninjalink and jash with mk and lucario respectively. then before that, Dooms house tourney, where i used mk lucario and falco equally. there are only about 6 tourneys that i have not used lucario with my mk. you only THINK i use mk only becuase thats what YOU know me for. the country knows me as an MK Lucario main.

I really don't keep up with you track record on who you beat with lucario or what not. But the example where you mentioned that match where you beat judge. Just because you beat one top player with that character & another top lucario lost to that same player does not necessarily mean you are better with that character.

I know it doesnt but you think ive only beaten judge with lucario? Have i not beaten snakeee in his prime, shugo in his prime, anther in his prime, jash, dmbrandon in his prime, etc. are these not national level opponents? look up facts please before you make conclusions. i dont care if you are new in the scene. if you are you either have 2 choices

choice a: look up the information of the past and present that you are currently overlooking.
choice b: dont post about something you dont know


Just like you mentioned you there are certain tools that apply to each person like either knowing the mu better or just knowing your character better. But you can't really say you are better with that character because you interchange with a MU that you do not like with lucario.

OMFG SERIOUSLY!? I MAIN META KNIGHT. i am NOT gonna use lucario in matches where i can easily win with using my real MAIN. why would i cripple myself? to prove to the oh great takeover that im the 2nd best lucario? yes that is definitely worth it. sorry my lord.

I can say you may be better at some mu's with lucario but that does not mean you are better overall.


yes you could say that. no doubt. but then again youd also be lying when you say that. oh also i can use this against you too. june better look out for the jigglypuffs and the dk's in bracket. looks like he doesnt know all the matchups either. for the record i dont know some matchups (like toon link, jash 3 stocked me game 1 but i kept to my promise and stayed lucario the entire set and won because im one of the best players and i am smart) but that doesnt kill my my worth with the character. my brain makes up for it. my experience makes up for it. experience = something of many i have over junebug.

I'll say this again, dont speak on matters you know nothing about. otherwise you not only hurt yourself, you hurt your allies as well.

I respect you as a player & that is all that really matters at the end of the day. I just had an opinion about who I think would represent great with Lucario. I'm pretty sure you are confident in your ability to **** with lucario & that is great confidence. Anyway, Ksizzle, if it counts for anything, I personally think you are better then lee with lucario. Just off of my experience with both players by playing them and watching them, you make better choices overall.

@Omni: Your right, your region has not moved from a year ago. The issue is not the characters however, it is the drive to play the game to increase their skill. NJ overall is sinking down the same boat slowly. We are losing players overall, and some of is just don't care as much anymore. I don't blame the repetitiveness of the characters, rather, I blame the lack of energy to thrive to be better then another person. As NJ players, we have little determination to prove anything since for a decent amount of time we proved that we are one of the most fierce places to be. NY falls into the same category. I hate my own state for that, but it's hard to try and motivate people who have lost all motivation to try and dominate others. Because of this, we lack competitiveness, and substitute it with mediocre excuses saying why we are doing bad OTHER then the fact that we are putting in less work and trying to get the same result. I fall under this, since I use to place decently high in every tournament I went to until around the 3/4th mark of 09'. From that point I have been placing nearly last. I have not put effort into improving dramatically until recently when I switched mains for the most part.

Everyone: I bring this up because watching my own state, and my neighboring states, from the outside saddens me. I **** talk this game all the time, but the one thing I never really complained about is how much competition it use to bring between people. For me, that is what makes a game fun. I know some people who don't go to tournaments anymore because of just the payouts being low. If your convince more people to go, the payout will be larger. I have been playing games competitively since I was like 12, from halo (Anyone can MM me =]) to even Tetris. I have attended every tournament possible, from MLGs dating back to the beginning of H2 to Evo's. For a game that we are trying to make competitive, but lacks the emotion from people that are needed to make it competitive, is not a competitive game.

It's motivation overall. Laziness takes over and just makes us weaker in general. I think its time for all of us to just get up and start playing again.

I agree but it's not really that people need to play more, the real problem is people's mindsets change over the course of time. Like people have fun playing the game but once people get down for whatever reason, they start to lose interest. Some people try so hard but are not strong enough to play this game at a high level, so alot of people that start playing just quit.

@ ksizzle that is not even a question that we are better than PA. MD/VA is a state where we have a few very great players, but we have a TON of good players. But PA they only have like 10 or 15 good players. The 10 or 15 players they have are very active too. NY/NJ you guys have alot of very great players and alot of good players.
