the greenish color is better imo, and elfen lied is just winI'm not to sure about my new font choice though... what do you think?
Compared to this
whats wrong with the ev system? Doesn't seem off to me or stupid in any wayI stopped a while ago because I ****ing hate the generation 3 EV system with a passion.
The fact that I swore shows you how much I hate it.
I call bias on that.
Metroid Prime Trilogy is out august 24th in fact. And the GC games have been reworked to have wii controls like Corruption, although I didn't mind the controls at all, and I don't really know anyone who did...I only played Super Metroid for SNES. If they come out with an essential pack, or a trilogy or what not, I'll play the others. I heard the controls for the GC metroid games were a b****.
Nah, they're pretty intuitive once you get used to pressing A+B->A+R->L->Z+R+B+A to reload within about one second. Oh yeah, and morph ball is kinda like pulling off those really strong grabs with Ivy in SCIII: hard, but oh so rewarding because you can then continue with the game!I only played Super Metroid for SNES. If they come out with an essential pack, or a trilogy or what not, I'll play the others. I heard the controls for the GC metroid games were a b****.
Not as gay as some people (PENGUINS) I know. Playing every single char he infinites or shortsteps kinda makes you hate that guy. Ironically, I like gaying it up with him too... *sigh*marth is gay. I dont care what happens in the game he's in he's a queer ****** and he likes other mens in his bed.
Before I explain, it's vital to know how the EV system worked in generations 1 and 2:the greenish color is better imo, and elfen lied is just win

Fixed.I stopped playing with R/B/Y after putting like 259:99 hours into both red and yellow, lol :/ it seems too overwhelming to get back into now, 151 pokemon was fine, seems too complicated and time consuming these days(neverminding the fact that at some point in school pokemon took over my life?)
you need to see them? When it comes to competitive pokemon its rather simple once you understand to make them and ev....training isn't hard and as long as you keep track of what you fight you can guarantee you get the right amount of ev's, as well as checking the pokemons stat at lvl 100 to make sure it has the max and mininum of everything neededBefore I explain, it's vital to know how the EV system worked in generations 1 and 2:

To me, the new system leeks of logical fail.
If you are putting a 510 cap on Effort values, the least you could do is SHOW US THESE VALUES. SHOW US the amount of effort points Pokemon currently have. SHOW US which Pokemon give us which effort points.
By putting that 510 cap, you are basically telling us to pay attention to these values.
What contradicts that cause is that THESE VALUES ARE HIDDEN.
It also makes raising Pokemon MUCH MORE TEDIOUS than before.
This is why I liked the old system. The values were hidden, but you didn't have to pay attention to them. There wasn't a limit on how many EVs you could get overall. Therefore, you don't have to spend hours just leveling up a Pokemon because you have to run away from most of the wild Pokemon since they don't ouput the correct EVs.
You could get all the EVs you need in generation 2 but simply battling the Elite 4, Red, your rival, and the trainers on both routes on the S.S. Aqua.
I'm talking about Generation 3 here.
I don't care whether generation 4 shows us these values. It's too little, too late.
You have no idea, how fun that multiplayer is, it's the offline equivalent of a GoW free for all.I'm not vehemently opposed to it as some are but I don't see why metroid really needs multiplayer, it typically hasn't been that kind of game at all...it just has the standard local MP2 echoes multiplayer though, no extra multi mode.
it's extra's from what I've seen are an included art book, MP3 like credits system for MP1 and 2(presumably to unlock the GBA connect galleries and maybe other stuff?), sound test, new difficulty modes...I think that's what's been confirmed so far...
Who is that now?You know who else is gay?
black and white animals with a sword.
The problem is that this system make the process significantly more time consuming than before.you need to see them? When it comes to competitive pokemon its rather simple once you understand to make them and ev....training isn't hard and as long as you keep track of what you fight you can guarantee you get the right amount of ev's, as well as checking the pokemons stat at lvl 100 to make sure it has the max and mininum of everything needed
Restricting options =/= more originality.the 510 cap is just forcing more originality and limiting what pokemon can do a little more than before, it makes you have to think of where what goes and how to distribute it to stop whatever you need to and make it do whatever is necessary
Think MI smasher...Who is that now?
If HG/SS had that feature, I would easily invest 300 hours into it. So psyched for that game.SHOW US THESE VALUES
After Genesis, I honestly don't think that the Oli matchup is all that bad. I fought Rich Brown, who was the highest placing Oli and is supposedly "the reason there are no snakes in cali anymore" according to some SoCal smashers. And I honestly don't see why it's all that bad.I have come to the conclusion that Peach or IC's are the best Snake secondaries.
They both go 70:30 against Olimar (says them)
Olimar says 38:62 against Peach
Olimar says 45:55 against IC's
That in my eyes makes Peach my new secondary.
Because Lolimar is the ONLY matchup I find myself unable to win.
And I do not like unwinnable matchups.
Marth and Luigi work, but I have come to the conclusion that my Luigi is horribad, and my Marth is only sub-par..
I'll do that once I get some free time. I have to head out right now. Please share with the SS how the **** you did the Olimar matchup. T_T
I like to think it was thisAlso Utah could just be THAT ****ing good.
Where in Cali may I ask? :3LOL next weekend? I'm going to be in cali on a vacation with the fam, or I totally would.
Still dont see why you hate it so much theres lists on websites of which pokemon give which ev's and its not hard to keep track ofI know who you are referring to. Don't say anymore about that.
The only way the series can redeem itself in my eyes is to
A. Go back to the old EV system
B. Show current Pokemon EVs and show which Pokemon give which EVs.
To those who are see SWF all white, switch the Quick Style chooser to Smash Blue or Classic Blue.
I only (recall) Me(e)t(ing) Panda, Mike, Scala, Cactuarz, Thax, Vay, Dogma, Ankoku, Boss and Lain in person, so if it's not any of them, I have no clue.Think MI smasher...
I'm not good at solving riddles.Panda's are black and white. He wields a sword because he is a Samurai.
Don't tell me you couldn't figure that out.
Have I given you the Riddle yet?Yeah tell me.
Learning ICs is a really smart thing to do, regardless of your main. I picked up ICs back when I used to main TL back in 08, and now they pretty much cover any bad matchup I have. My MK does that too, but ICs are more fun.One of them, Minako Hamano also worked on Super Metroid and Koichi Kyuma is also credited for Metroid Prime's soundtrack, as well as Kenji Yamamoto. Definitely some of my favorite nintendo music between those games
edit
I'd like to pick up IC's if I played more just to complete the MK/Snake/IC's trio of "wow brawl is a pretty horrible game", alas I don't feel like practicing more.
