I'd probably s*** myself, then I'd probably run. Of course it's the lost woods temple, so I'd be stuck haha. I don't how link doesn't get freaked out by all the weird monsters and ghosts... The freakiest part of that song is that weird instrument and that incredibly freaky voice, haha.

I think the awfulness of more recent zelda games dungeon music is a serious flaw, city in the sky would probably be the best dungeon in the series if it had better atmosphere like the forest temple, or if the music were just less grating and terrible. LTTP/LA/OoT/MM 4life.

This maybe matters too much to me, it's also a large part of the reason why I think Super Metroid > Metroid Prime > other Metroid games...

The music an atmosphere of LoZ is why its the best one. **** the graphics, if it can make me feel like I'm in a forest by myself, with ghosts watching me. Then **** thats a good video game.

Of course, I wouldn't mind a recreated LoZ with superior graphics.

I have come to the conclusion that Peach or IC's are the best Snake secondaries.

They both go 70:30 against Olimar (says them)

Olimar says 38:62 against Peach
Olimar says 45:55 against IC's

That in my eyes makes Peach my new secondary.

Because Lolimar is the ONLY matchup I find myself unable to win.

And I do not like unwinnable matchups.

Marth and Luigi work, but I have come to the conclusion that my Luigi is horribad, and my Marth is only sub-par..

One of them, Minako Hamano also worked on Super Metroid and Koichi Kyuma is also credited for Metroid Prime's soundtrack, as well as Kenji Yamamoto. Definitely some of my favorite nintendo music between those games

GAW has an advantage on oli? I didn't think he did...he's a nice choice in any case because he's such a simple, linear character, Snake is already complex enough, best to have a secondary you can play on a much lower level mentally.

Seriously, Olimar is so small.
They also scaled down everyone for the Distant Planet stage. Truth is, Yoshi and Wario are big enough to EAT the bluborb(that toad).

Ganon? Well, good luck. I'll sitck with Snake, Yoshi, and some anti D3 character(most likely Kirby).

Edit: Hold it. I don't play this game competitively much anymore. I'm practicing with Melee.

Super Metroid is all nostalgia and hype.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great game, but not the best.

Really?
It didn't seem that bad to me, nowhere near as brutal as Prime 1, and that game is epic fun.

I generally love the atmosphere of Echoes, Corruption has it's fair share of "dark" in it, and it's really cool for that reason (forcing Samus to kill peeps she once called 'friends' and all), but Prime 2, you have to admit is fascinatingly morbid, and is a really hard game to double.

Too dull to me, the entirety of the dark world and agon wastes are just boring to me visually, SO MUCH PURPLE(syx would like it? not enough contrast for me...), and again on the subject of music, it seems to be one of the weaker games to me, lot of bgm that's just sustained synth pads and sound effects, I think prime had a lot more effort put into it there. Only a few songs from Echoes really helped the environment to me, like torvus bog(I love the sine lead I use that myself so much lol)

But I do agree that the world of aether is fascinatingly morbid because of its story, although it seems somewhat nonsensical to me if I think about it more in depth and start asking questions, but it does have an interesting ghost like quality to it, although I don't think that's unique, prime did kind of the same thing for me in some places

edit: susa the greenish font is good NORMALLY except smashboards keeps glitching and turning all white and when that happens I have to highlight it to read it lol
