I've been playing more melee than brawl lately... Mostly because playing brawl is pointless by myself at this point. I can only get better by playing other people. The only time I'd play brawl solo is to practice some new tech.

As for melee... I still have no tech skill, so practicing ATs and junk by myself gives me something to do.

So I just went and talked to the boss of a local PnT store, and he seems enthusiastic about letting us host tourneys there. But he had a meeting and told me to come back in the next couple days and we'd sit down and talk.

So wish me luck, cause Utah currently has absolutely no Brawl tourneys (for the last month or so due to one host stopping the tournies at his house, and then the employee at the store that ran the other one got fired :() and I'm dying of smash deprivation :(

Let us examine this statement from SuSa.

". . .my cousin and I. . ." This is fairly obvious. It refers to SuSa himself and his relative.

". . .got T-Boned. . ." A car accident description. But since this is posted on SWF it has new meaning ;) T-Bone can also refer to a steak. Doesn't Steak on SWF seem familiar. :dizzy:

". . .some idiot ran a red light. . ." SuSa did not reveal the name of the culprit, but hidden in these few words gives an accurate description of the idiot. For one, idiot is singular meaning one person. To run a red light means they are have a need for speed and are too fast for there own good.

If you put all of this information together you get the real statement.

"My Cousin and I were brutally mugged, with a 160oz steak, in the middle of a traffic light intersection, and the culprits name is Sonic!"

The truth has been revealed :p

Anyways, whats up guys. Sorry to come off like im new to smashboards or anything I just never really was that active posting etc. until i got back into the competative smash scene about a month ago. I had to quit for abouta year b/c of school but blah blah no one cares. Anyways who all from the Snake boards is gonna show up at Genesis?

Here is what I plan to do. I plan on going back in time, making sure I stay in California. From there I will then attend Genesis. If I fail we will all know about it, but if I succeed, more than likely this post will have never have been made :cool:

But, no. I am not going to Genesis.

2 MORE YEARS AND I'M FREE DAMMIT.

Yeah, Madcatz are garbage. Haven't used one in 7 or 8 years, plan on keeping it that way.

Ever use a Gamestop controller? The have some wired ones for $15. I'm thinking about buying one cause I'm tired of having to borrow my friends and the one I'm borrowing now, the left analog is screwing up. Or maybe I'll wait it out some more and keep looking for a name controller online or at pawn shops...

3rd party controllers are almost never as good as the real thing for ANY system.

Unless we're talking about n64. Then I can think of a couple that are way better.

So far I've had a lot of luck with Big Ben controllers... The white skinny ones are a little wimpy, feel too much like PS2, but the thick blue ones work like a charm.

Still worse than GC though... :(

So this noob friend of mine says he can beat me. So I say, "let's have some fun" and set handicap to auto. 18 matches and 180% handicap later and I'm still 0-deathing (as in, not getting hit by) his ike. Pwnt. Apparently, he didn't know about Ike's jab combo. Then the friend of mine who is actually decent takes metaknight and beats the stuffing out of me. :laugh:

Random unrelated note:
I got the gold Ocarina of Time cartridge and holographic Majora's Mask cartridge for grand total of $45 off ebay. T'was a steal.

Now I own MM again (my last one was stolen) and have an OoT cart that doesn't look like a dog ate it.

And I have both of these games already on my computer, that one gamecube disc, AND virtual console (cause I had lost my disc...). How awesome am I for spending unnecessary money? I like collecting old games...

Bikes require exercise, which is something lazy gamers like us don't do.

Btw, I'm going to go bike to a few places today because I don't have car.
