Can you elaborate? I'm actually not sure what you mean, 9K.
If DDD spits out a character, be it manually or automatically after enough time has expired, he can follow up with an aerial to further pressure them. I don't have a definite list, yet -- and it's certainly possible to DI breaking out of the star -- but Fairing certain characters afterward usually connects. Breaking out of Swallow while in the air sets DDD up for an Uair, Nair, or Bair in some cases (DDD doesn't have a frame advantage here, so quite a few characters can just spam an aerial and not get hit (then again, they'll likely be mashing anyway, so it's almost guaranteed ;))). So, in a sense, DDD can combo out of a spit -- well, Swallow in general.

I've given out warnings in the past for off-topicness, so I am going to lock this thread temporarily (until the P:M devs want it unlocked). If you want to continue discussion, do it in #projectm.

Nintendude be honest, mangz... you got dis. First place all the way.

I'm also cheering for Rat since I really enjoy watching his rather unique playstyle. Might just take people out of their comfort zone in what to expect from a Sonic.

Looking forward to catching that stream!

Imagine PM Mario, and then imagine Mango's crazy offensive style applied to that. I can't see anybody standing much of a chance, particularly if he's bothered to go over the MUs for Lucas, Sonic, Lucario and Ike.

He's not going to be ready for Ike, you don't need MU knowledge for Lucas and there's no Lucas players at BH2 so what are you talking of lol

So Armada just took another tournament with Pit. Apparently hasn't even lost a set yet.
Assuming that "yet" includes past tournaments, I think Leffen won a set with Lucario during the summer.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My wishlist of matches to see in the PM Winners bracket:
- Rat vs. Mango in WR2
- Fly vs Vro in WR3
- Chillin vs Kels in WR2
- ORLY vs Nintendude in WR2

I think the top five, depending on the upsets in bracket, will definitely have Mango, Fly, Hungrybox, Vro, and Rat. I'm not sure about the order though.

Also, I'm going to point out that I have zero match-up experience against Jiggs. If I somehow play Hungrybox in WS, then I'm going to be soooooooooooooooooooooooo free.
