@Ruby
yo i notice you try to dair oos shield to punish a blocked down smash and the peach usually blocks it in time

wavedash oos->shine or grab is a much better punish imo

granted u dont really get much on peach from these options(depending on the percent)

besides laz0rz, how should I approach w/ falco?

Idk if im playing him right but i "think" hes a pressure char. ya know, shine, shine on shield, dair > shine bair. crap like that.

Im really trying to get better w him, but I just cant seem to combo chars that r non spacies or CF. and im not really comfortable w/ platforms. Im getting used to them more now, but i just love FD for some reason...

There's your problem. When you get used to platforms, they make extended combos infinitely better and easier on non-spacies and whatnot. Once you get comfortable with platforms, you will be leagues better, I promise.
I think we all went through a phase with Falco where we hated platforms.

I just gotta say, it's cool for me to see some Jamaican players. I watched your GFs matches vs sinji.

alright, ya they just annoy me. I try to jump > wavedash > shine on them but sometimes I dodge too early and fall to the ground or I just miss.

Work on shine > jump > waveland. It helps. A lot. If they shield it, just shine again and it will often catch them. If it hits, chase them for the combo.

In a lot of situations (especially vs non-fastfallers) you just want to dj above them -> fastfall dair onto the platform. Because it's on a platform they can't really techroll away, so you can cover the options with utilt/dash attack/fsmash/whatever and continue the combo that way.

i will only camp marth if he's devoted to camping near a ledge (under a platform). that way I can camp and still retain some stage control. otherwise, camping him just lets him control a huge amount of the stage and then you get owned.

Pretty much this.
Approaching Marth when he's staying near the ledge is a bad idea unless you're super confident that you won't get grabbed. Still, in that position I would play it safe and laser to get him away from the ledge.
I think the bottom line with that match up is that you need to get the pressure on him and keep it on him. You have to find the opportunity to get inside and make it count. Don't give Marth too much room to work, because we all know how easy Marth can kill us if he gets control.

And the prospect of Beardwai is just so tantalizing I must see it in person :O

Mine grows ridiculously fast, so its extremely hard for me to make sure i don't have one. Eventually laziness kicks in and I end up with a thick beard, and it stays there for a month or so before i finally get fed up with how uncomfortable it is and shave it off.

Yes I do. I've heard that some pro Falco players use Both X and Y depending on the tech or situation such as wave shine or shine grab etc

Is that something that has to be learned to get the best out of the character or is it a preference/depending of the person?
