neither fair, nair nor bair combos into fsmash if they just do standard DI (down and away).

using uair to extend combos should imho be used instead if your opponent will DI correctly

Uair is quite underrated.
Nair and Bair actually combo into Fsmash or other silly things like Utilts/Dtilts/grabs/whatever, but I never understood well enough how to use them to get the combo going 100% of the times. At mid-low %s it doesn't really matter if they're DI'ing away because a weak hit can grant you a follow-up if you space well.
I don't know about Fair because I still suck at using it D:

strong bad I tried powershielding with DK

I can get it to ~80% while facing away and like 99,999% when facing away and ducking
after literally trying for under 2 minutes

DK facing away is about as easy as peach LOL

pause+start and look where his shield is

and stop ****ing johning and develop some shiet

Do you mean the first hit or both hits of Uair? I could see argument for either one.

If they DI away I like Fair into Dsmash because it usually puts them offstage at a bad angle. If I'm somehow in the middle of the stage at that percent, then Uair is definitely a good idea I agree.

I don't...know specifics of my metabolism. Is it very serious? How would I find out these metabolism things?
The oj thing specifically isn't a big deal for most people. I think almost anyone can benefit from figuring out how their metabolism works and optimizing their diet around that. The thing to do is uhh record everything you eat and at what times, and also keep like hourly records of your mood and energy levels and what not. Then after a few weeks try to see if there's any obvious patterns.

The point really is that what you eat has a pretty big effect on your body and your brain and your ability to perform, so it's worth experimenting and trying to optimize.

Interesting...and how would intensity/regularity of exercise(namely, cardio) fit into this? Does it matter if I include that and my sleep schedule as well, or can I get a good idea food-wise from just looking at food and my mood hourly?

Should this just be taken to PMs I ask a lot of questions about this kind of stuff LOL

Honestly if you go down that path you're going to waste much more time and energy worrying about what you're eating than any benefit you'll gain from it.
Just don't eat junk, and get regular exercise. Becoming healthy / fit is literally that simple- the hard part is keeping at it consistently and not finding excuses for yourself

1 -3 miles is a good distance, if you really want to get in shape try increasing it progressively but otherwise that's definitely enough for general fitness
Don't forget to take a couple of days off a week to give your joints / tendons recovery time!

vs Lovage is good (even if Lovage played badly, which it looked like)
as is vs. s2j
thanks!

Yeah I have begun to notice that rest trend. Not sure if I'll increase or not when the distance right there is enough to wear me out haha, but if I can lose weight and gain focus using this distance then I am perfectly content with it. I'll increase after I get a very long solid routine established I'm sure.

you don't beat S2J without being good, sorry stingers
he plays falco like mk in brawl. just the same ****ing safe patterns and confirms over and over. its not good, its stupid. westballz is the new lunin lol. he beat s2j because that MU is hard enough for falcon, s2j was outplaying him by a decent amount but it wasn't enough.

Why does playing smart make him worse or not good? Everyone abuses character advantages to varying degrees.

he doesnt play smart.

neutral: standing laser -> approaching laser -> shine
every time
too bad falcon cant beat lasers at all =[

s2js approaching: shield or utilt
too bad falcon has nothing that beats utilt at all =[

he is more flowchart then the flowcharts.

So he's bad because his strategy is consistently unbeatable. If you think that makes him bad, then you are ******** on two accounts.

i feel like i'm the only one that knows what stingers is saying, thank you stingers, i'm not alone :)

although, to be fair, i don't agree that makes him bad...

like i said before, that makes him amazing vs FFF, but not as good vs floaties

Keeping track of exercise and sleep is also a good idea, but you can get quite a bit of useful info just looking at food.

You can send me a PM if you want to talk about this more. I really don't have too much to say aside from fairly general advice, but I could give you some reading material that goes deeper.

The #1 determinant in health is diet. But diet is complicated and smashboards isn't the place to discuss it honestly, I doubt anyone here is knowledgable enough on the matter. See a physician imo.

Wanna elaborate then? I'm curious about what you think but I dont care to discuss with stingers. Obvious troll bait is obvious.

I may regret this, but isn't it odd that so far the only serious argument for Westballz is saying that he is performing well at tournaments instead of basing their idea of skill on his gameplay, which is what Stingers is addressing?

He is not trolling btw I can usually tell when Stingers is trolling.

i agree with moose from the previous page.

i was watching over genesis 2 s2j vs m2k and noticed the little things that s2j does to avoid m2ks gimps.

How do we quantify his skill based on gameplay except what is exhibited at tournaments?

edit: I slightly misunderstood this post. Reframing of the question: If his gameplay/style is subpar (or whatever you want to call it) but it is successful in terms of beating good players, is it really subpar afterall?

on another note, do you think falco is just so good that it doesnt matter what he does (as stingers implies) and he is getting by on falco being hella good at this game?

hard questions lol.
