Im not even saying "movies don't count". Im mostly saying that they would make up some completely off the wall random thing for him (IF he gets in) simply because this aint some anime based game that HAS to use w/e thing that happened in anime or game to make a story linking them together.

Really, whens the last time Fox got attacked by a legendary pokemon before teaming up with Diddy? In what Kriby game did he team up with either Peach or Zelda? Hell, whens the last time Link and Yoshi got together? These are main characters with main roles in their own series and they have completely random incounters and team ups in SSE. . . .what makes you think Lucario will save the rock tree in SSE (with was never in a game I might add)?

I didn't make my point clear, I think. Maybe I didn't understand your point well, either, it was late when I wrote that. Anyway, I don't think he'll be saving any trees in SE if he's in, but it would be absolutely foolish to just make him random Lucario McLucario who says "Lucario" and does what Lucarios do. If he gets in, it's due to popularity, and popularity was helped due to the movie... it would be absolutely idiotic not to refer to that role.
What I mean is that he would definitely have the same personality he had in his story, and his role would be similar - a protector of something.

Also maybe his down b could be a protect like move that reflects projectiles and maybe spikes people? His up b is kinda tricky to think of but i think it should maybe he blaze kick, like he charges up fire then kicks upward! That's a great moveset, i bet alot of people would use him.

even though he is a steel type, he might not fall fast at all. look at samus, she is all metal but she falls so slow. and once again, people made him too buff with the moveset.

Now I honestly think Lucario may just get a playable spot in Brawl! Just look at his popularity!
Plus he is the best fourth generation rep and has had his own movie made about him, not to mention has great moveset potential
