sorry xyz and rx- red halberd is better than rx- trust me on that one, i consistently 2-stock rx- in tourney but red halberd only lost to me by the last hit, ya'll may be offended but he is way better than rx, like crazy better...and he only got seventh cuz the rules were gay and i knocked him into losers and then he got anxious and killed himself twice in a match against polmex...trust me he would've gotten second or first if it wasn't for that, don't under estimate him because he isn't able to attend tourneys, redhal, find your way to gigs and show everyone greatness

wow! this right here reminds me once again why i hate the brawl community SO MUCH, its full of dumb ego's... First of all its metaknight get over yourself, second be humble its definitely a better atribute than being a **** for no reason and third no one cares!! Thank you so much Hrnut for giving me some credibility. I really don't like sounding like an arrogant ******* or anything, but when people talk to me like I'm some sort of scrub I get really offended.
I've basically been sitting on the sidelines watching people I know I can fight evenly get all this glory and fame, so it makes me a little bitter. I really don't have the option to just go to any tournament anywhere, so I do my best to get exposure. I've been begging my parents to drive me to the gigs, but it all depends on my grades, and I also play in Marching band which takes up significant amounts of time. Plus I don't have a car, and my parents don't want me going out of town unless they're taking me. >_>

So I'm basically stuck in a world of online and watching people worse than me get worshipped on youtube. It's really frustrating. So whenever I'm a ****, PLEASE understand that I really don't want to be, I just don't have the many other options. I'm working hard to make it to the next gigs, but I still can't even guarntee that.

So until I graduate from Highschool, I can't guarantee showing up often enough to really prove to people what I'm packing. Till then I beg you all to put up with me and give me some credit.

If you're willing to put up with online I'd be happy to play anyone once I get a wired connection though. :D

You'll find that I'm not only good with Metaknight. Hrnut, Polmex, Petey and Galluda can also testify that my Falco is very good. I'm also working on several other characters, though I haven't extensively tested them.

But I do all those things, I'm not good just because I use Metaknight. I don't spam or anything. I save kill moves and play conservatively. Hrnut can tell you that my Metaknight knows when to camp and not run into grenade **** etc...

I can play any other character just as well as Metaknight, I only Metaknight because he's my favorite character. I wish they would just ban Metaknight so that people would stop complaining and brawl would become a more interesting game.

I didn't try to start a fight. What basically happened was, I made a general statement, and then everybody looked at my post count and tournament records and assumed I was a scrub. Everybody immediately jumped on me without thinking, the whole "Smashboards brawl scrub mentality", which is perfectly understandable. But all I wanted was a chance to prove myself.

Oh, well. We can drop it, and hopefully I can show up to the next gigs or something. :D

ok everyone. redhal is good, and so is galuda and several others and they placed even lower. the top 16 could have been different if we all played again today. everyone had their bad games (except HRNub lol) but everyone showed what they were capable of as well. all battlefield and no best 2 out of 3 even at finals adds more to the randomness.

anyone pro in brawl can easily be pro in melee. afro is already unusually good in melee and learning as fast as a pro in melee coincident? hrnut being good in brawl=him garanteed to be good as **** in melee as well he's got the smarts already he just needs the knowledge and muscle memory to **** in melee. play ,melee hrnut ill personally train u myself if i have to real talk

Oh no, we can't use that one as an excuse! Come league, we gotta take down the MKs and Snakes because we'll be fighting those more often than not. No need to be frustrated since we fell out the same round. 19th/20th is definitely not bad in a loaded tourney (although yes, I also expected to place better lol). Just gotta unlock more potential from the NINJA!

This is only true to some extent.

There are some players who, even if they don't go to a lot of tournies, are so blatantly better than certain players if you observe and compare how well they play their respective characters.

wurd. matt used to hate melee when he was playing brawl but the better he got in brawl the better he liked melee. lol hel yea ima train u in melee son ur a diamond waiting to be uncovered. meaining ur skillz are too valuable to not be trained lol. for real. first advice to learning melee watch ken m2k or azen and practice ur tech skillz so later on their muscle memory and u dont have to worry about messing up. vids is like math examples tells how to fight characters learn match ups and ****. and teaches u how to be more effective. u got more than enough good marths to watch so ur lucky u aint a ganon main. ima teach u more when we play for real


tech skilz is just options remember if u cant do wah tu wanna do ur gonna be left with less options(u can still own everyone if u play a basic marth just look azen). unlike brawl its easier to use ur options cuz it dont take practice while in melee if u wanna learn something u have to practice it first in training mode or somethign then appply it in friendlies then apply in tourney. good thing about melee for some reason whe nu learn new stufff is like having an orgasm. real talk
