Why would that make anyone stupid? Hype runs everything from movies to ... games? If everyone says it's good, and you want to play it to be apart of the fun that everyone else is having, that's a bad thing?

Now something like trends or sneakers hype makes people sheep just following a crowd i'd understand but something like media being spread through word of mouth I don't see the big deal.

btw no beefish im bored feel free to partake in some random thoughtful discussion. :laugh:

Another random thing....

How come 90% of Radioshack employees don't know what the FVCK they're talking about....I mean I go in the store and ask about "y splitters" aka "y adapters" and they were just baffled.... So then I try explaining something to them and I offer to test something else with their cables and some random employee comes out of nowhere trying to use big words sounding all stupid and **** trying to own me since he wanted to get in a knowledge fight. He didn't make any sense at all and then tells me to buy it, try it at home and come back if it didn't work, when I could simply (in less than a minute) test it right then and there....

I mean dam, I wonder what their position requirements are..

CanIsmash - I think Silven meant like how people react to the hype. Well yeah, good games always have hype. Like Mario games, Zelda games....some Mega Man games, etc.

Zro - He said 90% of radioshack, not 100%. though that is still too high I think I'm confident enough to say that Khanti knows what people are talking about, so he has to be that 10% of people who actually knows their stuff. But, 90% is still too high. If you or others believe that the employee isn't doing a good job, then talk to the manager or something. so you can encourage those to hire ones that have a brain

You can talk about Duane Reade though because most of the negative stuff is true :p

the smart ones generally go for jobs that pay more, lol.

I think it's less that the managers hire idiots on purpose than the pool is generally only made from them.

There is already an established SC fightin game community I've been part of them ever since b4 I got into smash.

it's ok, ron came thru which was a surprise. so far i played melee n brawl. i play fab on sc4 last nite from like 2:30 am to 7 am lol. the matches was mad fun. the gameplay is sooooooooooooo smooth online 4 real.

lol i doubt most ppl that play smash could get into sc competitively. even the most mediocre of competitive players have at least the frames of the staple moves memorized. no one xcept for m2k goes that deep into smash.

i played sc3 competitively b4 i got into smash and the one time they put a soul calibur setup up in web2zone i abused everyone who sat down without even picking a character that i know how to use. i used xianghua cuz shes top tier and just abused her frame advantage.

lol i guess im writing this as a challenge to those who think that sc is a good series and like to try to get into it. mind games will only get u so far when u dont know which of ur moves are punishable by wat and vice versa. sc is all about mix ups and taking advantage of free dmg. and if u dont know wat i mean when i say 236 B4 for sophitia in sc3 was abusive u should do alot of research b4 u take that game seriously lolol :laugh:

Maybe D1 should forewarn the SC community, likewise, that before getting into Smash they should automatically learn Meta-Knight if they wanna win competitively.

I want to play you guys in SC4....hopefully it'll be at the weekly. I don't own it yet, but I played it at my friends house all day today lol.

I play Amy, Kilik, and Xianghua.
