I finally started playing Infamous. Got it as one of my two free PS3 games after the whole PSN hacking ordeal, but never touched it.

It's pretty fun so far. Definitely going the evil route in terms of my karma actions. Being evil is fun. :3

Oh sweet. I think uh...I think you get an access code to that with Uncharted 3 as well, right? If so, I'll have to check it out. Could someone give me a summary of well, Starhawk though?
Basically, the game looks A LOT like Warhawk. The key difference is you have to build everything. Want to spawn a hawk? Build a spawner. Want to spawn weapons in your base? Build an armory or sniper tower. That's a HUGE difference because now the bases can't be memorized where to get everything you need during a flag run.

Secondly, the controls are a bit different for flying, so that may take some time to get used to. There is also a personal Jetpack which changes the game entirely.

Very funny you say that, I haven't touched it either, I haven't even installed it, I also found out that I still have 1 free download left since I apperantly only downloaded 1 title from the Welcome Back Package, any suggestions for the second game?

Also, I just pre-ordered Final Fantasy XIII-2, it should be fun indeed, been playing XIII and so far I almost gotten every trophy which isn't so simple IMO.

My ego...It's OVER 9000!
Turns out that The Last of Us is being made by Naughty Dog...

...great, cause we definitely don't have enough zombie games around. /sarcasm

Y'know I feel offended how I'm one of the many fans who begs for a Jak sequel but is still ignored to this day, and it doesn't help that Uncharted 3 didn't raise the bar as much as Uncharted 2.

I still yearn for a Jak sequel.

I also think it's unfair to put that much of an expectation on UC3 when UC2 came out of no where and was GOTY.

Also, Naughty Dog has two teams. One will continue to work on Uncharted/other things, and this other team is currently working on The Last of Us. I'm still gonna hold my judgement on it because, it definitely feels weird for ND to make a zombie apoc game.

Just beat InFamous. I was incredibly evil all throughout the game...and dang..that black and red lightning looks awesome.

Also, this is the first sandbox game that I've played for 5 hours straight.

Infamous was definitely a surprise to me. Rather a good game to play. Only issue I had with it was how the morality wasn't...built in depth I suppose.

If you don't have Little Big Planet..that would be the one.
I hear it's a great game, never bother to try it out or even check what it's about, is it fun?

I have a PS3 now. :D
Yay! ^_^

About time! We should be PSN buddies! :bee:

Whoa, Infamous sure sounds like fun with those power ups, I will probably start playing it sometime during X-Mas that's for sure.

Little Big Planet is pretty unique. The story mode can be played with 3 other people, and that makes it all the more funner. However, it's true game lies online where you can play mini games others created + games created by the staff.

LBP wise the challenge is making a level. Then for me the challenge of beating levels without dying. Some levels annoy me like the one with the flaming pickles...(I know they aren't called that or whatever. I come up with funny nicknames for things.) I should get back on that game after I get Platinum for Sly 2 & 3.

^^Playing the Sly collection in HD aren't we? Man I hope Sony comes up with more HD collections soon, especially some good RPG's!!

As for LBP, sounds like a good multiplayer game, I'm not surprised that online play would be a big factor seeing that almost all multiplayer games these days have online, otherwise most people think it's dissapointing if it lacks such a feature.

*Looks at Tekken Tag HD*

They are milking these "HD" collections so hard. If they are gonna re-release them, at least bump up the graphics rather than just slapping "HD" on it.

I'm trying to catch up on trophies because when I played Resident Evil 5's The Mercenaries and Versus I was very competitive at it and it sucked up all my time for others games. I even had games that were still inside the plastic seal that I had bought months ago. Theeboredone is correct; It's is a bummer they don't improve the graphics and just try to made them all HD. Happy yes they're back with trophies. However, they could at bump the graphics.

They are miliking the HD collections, but man, I'm REALLY looking forward to the Silent Hill 2 and 3 HD releases, as well as Final Fantasy X.

I'm with you on that. Then can be milking it all they want as long as I can play those games again. As well as collect their trophies. I do wonder if they'll bring back X-2 in HD sometime after X's return.

I liked the battle system a lot more on X-2. I don't mind the whole too girly thing since it honestly didn't determine anything game play wise. I know I had to barrow it to play it. Hopefully they do bring it to PS3 so I can have the game for myself.

I liked the whole Charlie's Angels aspect of it. I also loved Yuna's singing. :p

But really, the battle system was awesome. They basically combined FF Tactics with the ATB system, and it just works.

Adventures of Tintin came out earlier this month, but the series is based off comics dating back to the 30s. So while it's bad enough there are identical moments in both games...I'm kinda disappointed some things are just blatantly ripped from the comics.

Couldn't they, like, spend their day doing better things like help fighting against SOPA?

EDIT: OKAY! Well, now that i read the article, looks like that's just what they're doing. In their own way.

There are folks that claim to be anonymous, but don't do any good.

The folks that caused the PSN issues this year was one of those types.

I would hope this faction doesn't do the same. I hope they actually make a statement about the tolerance to SOPA we the people will have towards it.

But since anyone can technically anonymous, it's hard to filter out who is the good ones, and you are the stupid ones.

Anonymous is apparently gearing up to shut down Sony again

http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/30/anonymous-is-apparently-gearing-up-to-shut-down-sony-again/

Sweet, hopefully we get more free games! :bee:

:phone:
Is it bad that I actually want to see Sony get hacked again so I can get more games from them?

And doesn't Anonymous have anything better to do than piss off Sony? I mean seriously, you gotta be kidding me. This time they didn't even do anything directly to Anonymous and they're getting shut down again. What baffles me even more about Anonymous is that they claim to be helping and protecting and defending us, yet they throw us under the bus by posting all of our credit card information online and they deny US the use of a service we use daily. I wouldn't mind as much if they just attacked Sony without hurting us in the process, but now it's ridiculous if we are really gonna have another outage for a month. Can Anonymous just **** off for real? They're both annoying to Sony and to the gamer. If it wasn't for the fact that free stuff, I'd be even madder about this

And since when we F8AL?

You people and your jumping to accuse Anonymous and dismiss the good they are doing for this.

You realize Nintendo, Sony, and EA dropped support for SOPA, now, right? This almost happened directly after that article was written. And they were one of the three top supporters of SOPA.

SOPA is BAD. i'm all for any action Anonymous is willing to take in order to prevent it from passing.

And as I said before - Folks that call themselves Anonymous, may not even be part of them. There've been times the group have said that it is not them, but a rogue group they have to control over. And those were the types that cause the credit card leak and PSN to be out.

Actually, they didn't. They dropped their support to about 50%.

SOPA IS bad, but attacking Sony is just something that Anon loves to do when given the opportunity.

Exactly, because "Sony constantly pushes the plebeians to the brink and exploits them for their own personal gain"

Or some "The-Man-be-holdin'-the-black-man-down" bull**** they posted that I read

It just doesn't matter to me. I already gave them my money for three PS3s, and I will continue to do so for the games I want. The point is it taking them offline won't do anything but make people feel sorry for them because, in general, people aren't as informed as desired.
