Seems like you need to work on your Peach section some more after losing to KrazyJones and me yesterday in tournament.

indeed, i didnt say anything then but i was playing terribly and stupid. I had (have) bronchitis and hadn't been able to sleep for like 3 days before the tournament because i spent the entire time coughing. I wasn't playing like myself all day, and i am surprised kdj and i won teams when i was playing as bad as i was, he's a crazy guy. But anywho, ill getcha next time, ;-)

I just got a set up to record matches and stuff with, maybe I can help you out. All I did was get a capture card and a VHS tape. What you do is record the matches on the VHS tape. Then hook up some AV (yellow, red, white) cables to the OUT plug-in spot. Plug the other end of the AV cable into the capture card, and plug the capture card into the computer (whether through USB or TV Out or whatever the capture card is designed to do). Then you can open Windows Movie Maker (or any video editing software) and click on capture. Tell the program to capture from the right source for video and audio (the capture card) and viola!

Yea, mine is from Best Buy and was about $50. It's Pinnacle Dazzle DVD Recorder. It comes with software to install and everything, but after I installed it I just use WMM. The software it comes with is for turning VHS into DVD. Cool stuff, but not quite what I needed at the time.

Very well done, good guide you have there..tilted my mind as far as my secondary goes, I play marth as a main and had falcon as a secondary but felt I wasn't doing well enough, was either going to choose falco or sheik to take his place

You should probably finish up the character sections before you focus on videos... unless you just don't feel like it. It's just it's kind of embarassing when you lose to like... a pikachu or mewtwo or someone and then you feel ********. I mean yeah, videos will help tons... but it'd help more to finish up your other sections. Thanks in advance. PS - I used your tips vs jiggs in IVesticle and didn't get gayed once.

Good Falcos love to punish your missed attacks with a short hopped dair; if you don't shield in time, it's a combo; if you do, it's pillaring of course, but their pillar comes high on your shield and really close to you, to the point where if you roll away, they can still run after you and dash attack into a bair or whatever they want. Played my friend for a while yesterday, and I just have no counter for this.
You have Sheik 80% over Luigi, but I'm not seeing it. Luigi has a good approach, immense priority, and great combos on Sheik, and his mobility and approach is better than most characters too.

if they hit your shield high you should be able to grab them before shine,
and i agree that luigi is underrated in this matchup, he can break out of alot of combos and if you miss a grab, which is not that hard cuz he has a great sidestep, you get upb'd

I would appreciate if the Falco matchup was expanded. I just got utterly ***** by my friend who uses Falco, and though he's of course better than me (BEST FALCO IN SO CAL?), I am just so puzzled. It's SHL spam I can't get through, and just one dair or shine is a gay *** 40-60 combo minimum. My only hope is to get in some grabs, but that's exceedingly hard to do -- definitely not the same as Fox.
Vs a really good Falco I feel almost hopeless, to the point where I go Falcon (lmao), Ness, or Doc.

p.s neighboorhoodP, you should use more of an aerial game against falco. wavelanding off of platforms into needles or aerials, falling through platforms with aerials are both good. Also, sheik's uair trades with falco's dair, so if the falco is above you you can uair and start combos pretty often. utilt also trades with falco's dair if you do it right. You deifnitely have to play more aerial based against falco, his lasers are too good for ground fighting

It seems like edge guarding is the only equalizer, and while against basic Falcos it's pretty simple -- they jump into a needle, then you fall down and slap them, or run down after them and slap them, or run down and jump a nair -- but really good Falcos are just too tricky. They can DI away and get just out of range of your fall slap, and then they just illusion back on to the stage. Then when you think they're illusioning they fox fire and the lag ruins your timing. And you only get one or two shots to do it right, so it's like you have to play perfect on the edge guarding.

yeah, if the falco is good i wouldnt really bother turning around and needling. My advice would be to either run out and double jump a nair, then continue the edgeguard, or chase them out and do a fair when they firefox. One thing you should try against falco is to throw them back, and pretend you're gonna go out for the edgeguard then just up+b to the ledge. Most falco's will drift away so far to avoid the attack that ur edgeguard will kill them

They only split up the zelda and sheik boards yesterday, so you didnt miss anything
