@Ozz - I don't like always winnings teams. Sure it means I could have more money, but I'm not greedy. I'd rather let other people win a few times and have a good time then me always hogging it to myself.

Though I might reconsider in the near future.

Lee and dphat were the greatest challenge in brawl ever. I wonder if they keep up that strategy will it eventually effect the SBR ruleset.

Uh yeah...but its not about how it effects one team, but teams in general. U didn't see how badly they ***** everyone else...they also ***** us in winners finals.

I want to see how that strategy works against dojo+someone.

This strategy isn't that viable against another team that has 1 other MK that can compete for that edge + 1 player who can hold his own/win against whoever is playing on the stage. Snake also kind of Fs it up through chip damage to MK.

You were the only ones to get two shots against them, so don't assume no one else can beat it, lol.

If it's too strong, implement a stronger anti planking rule. If the planking rule is too lax, then whatever goes, goes.

Most strategies involving MK can be solved/neutralized fairly well by just adding another MK like PX suggested.

You're basically asking for one person to 2 vs 1 an entire set for 5 minutes for every set while the other person avoids damage for 5 minutes. The strain on both the Lucario and the MK should be pretty obvious, and it's hard to keep three stock for that long, and Dphat had to do it against a double MK team of 4saken and d4ba.

Dphat's just really good at running, and Lee's really good at 2 vs 1s. But if you manage to take just one stock from that MK, the entire strategy is nulled, Lucario went through 2 stocks for no reason, and the team's down to 3 stock total (with Lucario having damage). Then it's just about fighting a Lucario MK team with probably less stock that the opposing team since Lucario couldn't kill by himself the other 2 lives since the damage stackers didn't apply yet.

The results are a little screwy because Tio was doing some stupid stuff. I was really upset that 1) the bracket got switched around AFTER I spent 20 minutes properly seeding everyone and 2) some people got renamed / removed from the bracket/entrants when they shouldn't have.

Dang, renamed and removed? Was this before or after singles had started because I saw myself at 33rd before i left at like 11 so yeah idk when that could have happened. But that sucks man, i look forward to more tournies at that location. =]
