8 pets! Yeesh, you're the master breeder Scatz! Seriously though, these pets have POWERS, imagine Pikachu, setting the house on fire via electric discharge. Oh, but it was an "accident"

Dead inside; depression is a powerful curse indeed.

Chocolate is okay *smile*

Oh, we know they're dangerous. There's a number of them who could kill us quite dead. Even Magikarp. In fact especially Magikarp.

This is why we keep them all in little balls. As some kind of energy. Or something.
Made from apricots stuffed with science, because of course they are. Or science stuffed with more science if you're not a traditionalist.

You could perhaps capture a Conkeldurr to help you construct a nice bunker for emergencies. Perhaps, for example, when your already-dangerous Magikarp decides it's evolution 'o clock.

Ehhh my dog's kind of an asshole. I'd prefer him not to talk. ;; Your Lucario "buddy" might turn out to be a jerk!

It would be an awesome life story:
1) Get your forever-dreamed best buddy.
2) You'll have to clean his stuff everyday (and your buddy is huge so...)
3) He doesn't like you anyway
4) He still demands food and petting

thats why taking care of a life sized latias would be miserable, especially since you have to clean up after if we are going off of the whole its a pet standard and dosent have going to the bathroom in a proper way as a salient task. Ergo all mine are animals like dogs and cats because I already can do that lol

plus ChuMother is right, what if the latias is a jerk and ruins all of my expectations of my favorite poke? cant take dat risk

Btw for any TPP people we have been stuck at viridian for almost a day now. Im starting to just hear the bass/backup notes of the viridian city ost, and its making me appreciate the music being pretty in depth for that time period.

Ahhh, I think it various. Like wow, a lot of humans are potentially ***** too but a lot are pretty cool. I think same applies to all living things. There are a lotta *****, but some make my day.

Except hornets. **** hornets. They hate everything. I guess only if Lucarios arn't jerk butts then, yea.

And being a dog groomer, i'm completely use to dealing with animal shenanigans. :T It'd be really nice to communicate with them to tell em to stop acting like waters not gonna kill them. Nnnng.

Cats are nice, I've aleays wanted one. If I got a white cat, I'd name it "Sugar."

I can't really think of many other names for a white cat

My brother has a husky, very beautiful species

Pets have their own nature, you just gotta hope you get a good natured pet. Like my cat is scared of a any sudden sound/movement while my friend's cat will walk on top of me and smell my face.

Also with psychic pokemon, you can assume they are smart enough to be taught how to go to the bathroom.

Lemme just point out that three of the four pokemon Rei listed last page are furbait.

I like too many pokemon so top 2 that'll never change I guess.

Dratini
Deino.

Y'see, the fun thing about a mistake is that it means we're about to improve; if we aren't makings mistakes then we're just not getting anywhere are we?
Everybody, what Pokemon would you have as a pet?
Or you're a robot.

If they didn't cover themselves in toxic slime, I'd have a pet Wooper (I liked it so much I asked my mom to sew me one when I was like 8. It took her 3 years, but I still have it). Or a Quagsire (think there is the same problem). A Togekiss would also be awesome, as would a Latias (but I'm not sure I'd want mine with sass...). Piplup is also of course adorable. Or a Pikachu if I didn't think it'd shock me.

Ussi said:
Also mistakes are guaranteed in this life, the real question is how do you deal/react to them.
Actually no. You can make just one mistake, and that is by refusing to act at all. Then your only mistake is that you didn't live. But it's no longer plural, at least. [That's actually super depressing, please don't do that].

lots of different user said:
*do a whole team!*
Wooper/Quagsire (if Quagsire doe, Pikachu, Togekiss, Latias, Reuniculus, and Garchomp. Lickitung, Audino, Eelektross, Scoliopede, Blissey, and Mew are honorable mentions.

Hopefully it just has a jolly nature. And if not, soothe bell to the rescue!

Although I don't like taking care of pets, so I see the issue. Unless I got a Blissey instead? [that would work, right???] If so, replace the... oh **** which one?

Also I have no idea what "furbait" is, just sayin'.

Jobs suck. I technically have two at the moment, and it's nice having money, but then you never have time to spend it -- and when you do, you're too damn exhausted. (Plus I'm still broke anyway after student loans.)

Also, might have to get my tonsils out because of chronic bronchitis. I scared. :urg:

:urg: @ bronchitis. Hope all goes well.

I know I was searching for a job for nearly an entire year before I got picked up. It's extremely annoying when you miss hiring windows or don't have the qualifications they need for a basic job that can build your profession up.

Damn... chronic bronchitis sounds horrible. I still have some sort of illness for the whole past month since a smashfest in January. Started off as a really bad allergy with a two-week long runny nose and sneezing, developing into a common cold for the next week, then turn up at Slush's while still having that cold, ended up with a fever, congested nose and chest, and wheezing coughs. Got over everything but the coughs. I haven't gotten my tonsils taken out either-- maybe just maybe...

I'm on that boat on not having any qualifications for most positions. It's difficult to find "Entry Level Software Programming" just for Java or C so that it can develop into those other languages that most colleges don't really focus on such as Java(Something), C++, Fortran, Netscriptsomethingsomething god I almost feel like I don't deserve this BA in CS.

One slight of hope is that I did find a entry level position and currently in the middle of the application process (they gave me a flawed code to improve and I just recently sent it back), but the company campus is pretty much a 45 min drive from my house. A bit of a inconvenience if I ever going to get experience in the job field.

You're probably thinking of JavaScript. Not sure what netscript is, unless you're thinking of the .NET Framework (C#.NET, VB.NET, anything else using Visual Studio, basically). If you do already know Java, go take a look at C# and laugh because it shares almost the exact same syntax. C++ is good to know the basics of. Not sure what's still using Fortran, but it is admittedly a pretty cool language.

I was thinking it had to be something other than JavaScript when I was looking at the requirements for certain positions, but may have been it. I thought I had some sort of JS experience while in school but I guess not. And yeah, most definitely the .NET framework that I mostly see in requirements. In the 2.5 years in upper division as an undergraduate, none of the classes dealt with .NET nor C++ and I happened to take classes that didn't deal with JavaScript. Everything was in Java and C, and a little dabble in Perl and Ruby. Either I'm missing something during school or these stuff I was supposed to self-experiment before hand.

I prefer not to be in security-based programming but I will if I have to resort to it. Some odd security companies I happened upon job search engines required Fortran experience, but I guess yeah that's kind way out of the way.

Amen to the ****tyness of the current job market. I got a glass raised for y'all.

My contract-to-contract chronicles are common enough knowledge by now, but just came back for an interview for a contract-to-hire as an entry level network tech. Qualifications are spotty, but cross fingers for me.

Couple of specific responses:

Jobs suck. I technically have two at the moment, and it's nice having money, but then you never have time to spend it -- and when you do, you're too damn exhausted. (Plus I'm still broke anyway after student loans.)

Also, might have to get my tonsils out because of chronic bronchitis. I scared. :urg:
Feel that. This happened to me at my last job - hence my several-month spottiness, amongst other things.

Godspeed on the tonsillectomy. Side-note: if they can manage rum-flavored ice cream afterwards, you're in good hands.

It's difficult to find "Entry Level Software Programming" just for Java or C so that it can develop into those other languages that most colleges don't really focus on such as Java(Something), C++, Fortran, Netscriptsomethingsomething god I almost feel like I don't deserve this BA in CS.

You and Vale both ninja'd the hell out of me with respect to programming language points. I'll second (third?) JavaScript as what you're most likely thinking of. Lua is also gaining some ground for scripting and rapid prototyping and might be worth a look as well, but you pretty much know where to go.

The laser focus on C vs. C++ kind of sucks but Java and Perl are both worthwhile in today's market from my understanding. I especially see a lot of call for the latter around here, which is kind of a shame on my part as I know nothing whatsoever of the language.

The lengthy drive will definitely be worth it if you can get your foot in the door with it, but as someone accustomed to lengthy drives I'll note that if you go that route (and you likely should) be sure to squirrel away some rainy day cash for vehicle maintenance. Don't be like me. My muffler is breaking noise ordinances in neighboring states.

I hated working 2 jobs for the very reason you described it. Just after awhile it doesn't feel like the moneys worth it when you have no time to enjoy. I'm happy with my dumb part time grooming job now. "Broke and happy" is my way of life if I have the means to live that way. Thank god my roommate has the same mentality. Ha.

Oh, and I hope the tonsil thing goes well man. I'm sure it will, but yea, that stuffs scary. I was a baby for getting just my back teeth removed. :T

I'm working two jobs (more like 1 1/2 atm), but I'm ok with it. Trying to see the future out of both of them and I just tend to push the annoying parts away. I've always been conscious of money since I got my first debit card, so I like being able to have money to support myself. Being broke sucks tons for me.

Makes it worse that I haven't been making the time to enjoy the extra cash, but that's looking to change soon since I'm gonna mess around with the smash community here in anticipation for smash 4 and just overall fun. Hopefully get back into dancing too.

Ahhh you're a ****ing sweet dancer man. <3
I actually showed my friend the way you danced and lately he's been trying to learn to dance that way too. Gotta admit I tried myself, but I was just straight up bad. Ha.

Haha, thanks man. I've been out of dancing for a good amount of months now, but hoping that's gonna change. I was fairly bad when I first started, but I just buckled down and practiced hard. You can get good at something so long as you know what to do and have enough determination to do it.

Thanks to redfeatherraven and sunnysunny for the advice. And there is away, continue to be Patrick Star, i.e. live under a rock (There's also dying, but that's way depressing, and then I don't get to live, so out of the question). Also so far Youtube's been safe so I can still watch cool Smash footage and do research for classes, probably all I need the internet for besides some communication stuff. Good luck with jobs and such, I'm still a minor so that's not a part of my realm yet.

I need a job for a publishing project I'd like to start working on this summer. And for general debauchery and paying back loans of course.
