I kinda pick job classes based off of how fabulous the characters looks in that costume. :T

Now, I personally prefer the classic cavalier look that Red Mages usually have, but the rose motif works well too.

the DSM5 isnt as categorical and set in stone as its predecessor, but heres the criteria youd need to meet to be considered for depersonalization/derealization disorder:

Depersonalization: experiences of unreality, detatchment, or being an outside observer with respect to ones thoughts, feelings, sensations, body or actions.

Deralization: Expereinces of unreality or detachment with respect to surroundings(e.g., individuals or objects are experienced as unreal, dreamlike, foggy)

B. during this experiences, reality remains in tact (aka you still realize you are in this world)
C. causes clinically significant impairment in daily life

the biggest descriptive criteria of this is in relation to yourself, and that you feel detached from yourself as if you have no sense of self or feel that you are no one. This also includes knowing you have feelings but not feeling them, or even that you may feel that your thoughts dont feel like your own.

really this spectrum is saying you dont feel like yourself in your own body, and that you feel as if you are out of your own body in mind and, well, body lol. your feelings of detachment to others and even yourself may be more in the spectrum of a antisocial personality if its mainly around not empathizing and understanding others. Again though you have to meet all of the above in order to be even considered for diagnosis, but its all measured on a continum now so you very well could have aspects of depersonalization happening in your life.

My little brother is a big Roblox fan; myself, not so much. I'm probably in the same boat as the other people you know - tried it early, found it wanting, moved on. I didn't even get into Minecraft that much until someone purchased the game for me.

And now I run two modded servers. So there's that.

Since they've made a lot of improvements since then, I suppose giving Roblox another shot wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility. Impending microtransactions have me wary, but we'll see.

Mmmm, case studies. Don't mind if I take some notes, and general respect++ to the lot of you.

To add my two cents, I've always been a fan of more traditional RPG fare, both Western and JRPG. I think my personal favorites would have to be Planescape: Torment in the former and the original Wild Arms in the latter, though there's about a dozen different series I enjoy, most of which got props.

I think there's exploring left to do in terms of combat systems, however. For my next project's sake, I hope I'm correct.

You said Chrono Cross, and that made me think "nobody likes Chrono Trigger?"

Most of my friends and family are under the impression that I slept through that storm due to sleep deprivation.

Just between us, though, I was cuddling somewhere in Indiana. I would in fact recommend this course of action during any storm.
Although perhaps not in Indiana.

Also, to wit: we all like Chrono Trigger, but let's be fair, Chrono Cross always needs more props.

I forget how out of place I am in the Smash community sometimes.
I do not play video games other than Smash anymore and it's weird when they're like playing other games at tourneys on handhelds or raving about a new game (online or in-person).

I might just be biased because ROBLOX Studio was where I first got into scripting/programming. ROBLOX is free to play, so you don't need to worry spending anything. The purchasing options are really just to get more virtual money for avatar customization. You can also host more games on a profile, but you have the ability to save as many as you want on your hard drive either way. Due to the user-generated content, the quality of individual games can vary pretty dramatically. There's probably something you'd like.

My first programming experiences were with Java and C++, but programming would also be a major reason for me to examine it. I've been looking into Lua for a while now.

As for nicknames at least you can see from my name how PG is my nickname. In the case of say K Prime or FZ you wouldn't be able to distinguish who they are based on their current name here if you were new here.
