I didn't get to fight ONE ice climbers...and there were so many. or an olimar for that matter. i got stupid kirby, mk, and ddd instead :/ there were a ton of good people (as you'll see from the results), maybe 10 out of the 54 people were scrubs, so i'm pretty happy with my placing. i wish i would have beaten clel though, i cant ever seem to beat him even though our matches are always close. i suppose everyone has an mk main like that in their region :/

@xyless, no, it wasnt a MM, but we told everyone it was so they would let us play it. (plus it was more interesting than TL and ICs )

@ill, sadly, no, both super close though. i could've played better (as usual) against mk. i just have a really hard time approaching him intelligently. clel's really smart and cautious, and i wasn't playing him like he was, i was just treating him like a typical aggro mk. someday...

I've only played Kain once, and it was scary. The Wolf matchup is hard for me since I never know how to react to his shield pressure. I think it's weird how even though Chicago is one of the biggest cities in the US, we have like no smash scene...

It really was pretty fun to watch. How did you feel it went? I haven't faced Kain in singles yet somehow (even though we live in the same city), so I have yet to really experience Wolf at his full potential.

Well, he was way more fun to fight than any other wolf i've played, but I think that was because he wasn't camping. I don't know if he would have done so in a tourney match or not. He does some crazy **** with reflector. Having played him, though, I don't think wolf is as bad of a MU as I previously thought it was. I have some wolf experience from Holms (KS) and a couple wolves I fought at APEX though, so maybe I've just gotten better at that MU and that's why it doesn't seem as bad to me.

He mentioned you when he asked me why I didn't go for the chaingrab on him, lol. I told him Peach combos him higher than the chainthrow anyway and I always screw up trying to go for it, but I know how you love it so <3

Oh ya.. Metaknight is no longer a threat at all to me. I have played like 40+ matches with Gnes' MK. Tons of matches with Dphat and Infinity afterwards also.
