Just because she had "legit" combos in vBrawl necessarily doesn't mean she'd be good in Brawl+. She's good, but not top, and definitely deserves to be buffed. Squirtle and Sonic got buffed too. I'm saying if Peach was taken from vBrawl with no buffs, so people like you wouldn't complain, and put into Brawl+ she'd be low, if not, bottom tier.

I don't understand how you view Peach. Are you saying we should nerf her and ignore other characters who are clearly better than her? Also. She's good. But really, bottom top 10 material imo. They are better characters than her. So I think my thoughts of how good she is is fairly accurate.

Why are you going on about her being middle and low tier in vbrawl? Peach has been rising over time in vbrawl as the meta game (no pun intended) gets more advanced (/there are just more players who are skilled at some of the more unpopular characters) so if you check it again, shes more likely to be even higher then when I last checked.

The new physics really buffed peach. I think we can all agree on this. Read what neko said about her combos. The other characters in the low/mid just got nerfed, or got nerfed in comparison to the characters who were higher.

Currently i'd put her somewhere between 7 - 10th best. Without her buffs, id put her somewhere between 13th-9th.

Reasoning:

Her side b moves her maybe half a position.

Her dsmash moves her maybe a position.

Her dair moves her half a position.

Her fair maybe a full position.

I really don't understand all of this. I think Neko is ****ing with all the peach mains. And we are all taking it badly. Peach is really good. So are many characters. Also some characters are bad (or not really good, or even good). They should be improved upon. The question is, should we slowly make a huge amount of characters who are considered good, worse and change them (maybe even change their play style) or should you focus on the characters who need a some help in becoming better.

Some guys say sonic is bad. Well why. What is the reason. Its not that every one else is broken, its that he is bad. He can't approach, he can't combo well, he gets hit out of everything, he has few defensive options due to his crappy hitboxes, his short hop is too high to do good **** out of (he jumps over some of the cast, lol crouching jigglypuff). They need to do something to him. BP would suck if every one was as bad as Sonic, just camp grabs like a ****ty version of CF. WTF. No one wants to play a game where every one sucks.

Its good to have characters that have closes, kills, edgegaurding, combos, shield pressure, defensive moves and offensive ones. The reason characters are bad is because they lack the fundamentals to win a match. Sure if your good enough at spacing and mixing up attacks you can beat anyone (probably) but it is really silly to change characters in ways that maybe make them do more damage or be able to shoot arrows faster, or spam missiles harder, or have more mobility on their up-B in case they wiff, or any thing like that. If it doesn't change their ability to actually approach, or actually defend themselves then it doesn't really do ****, cuz when it gets to the highest levels of game play, if it isn't a legit close, then it will never happen.

People are just sitting here talking about how peaches bomber is too good and her dsmash is good and ****. well yeah they are, have you guys ever actually figured out why they are good. No one posts that ****. Its bull ****. No one backs their recommendations up. its all just throwing dooky around. How many matchups would completely change by taking peaches side-b out of the game, does it even ****ing matter. Is that what makes her good.

I'm just tired of people talking trash all the time.

She has plenty of ledge potential already.

It doesn't edgeguard, it sets up for an edgeguard. It's a good move now. It's strong, but not too strong like you guys say it is. Besides, it's really slow. In Brawl+, missing it can cost you a whole stock against some characters! Also, people will learn how to deal with it and see it coming. I't really isn't that good at all. It's just good.

Anyway, it's been realized that with special moves which have the ability to be used as semi-reliable offstage moves in addition to onstage moves (like Peach Bomber), they should be balanced with offstage uses in mind. That's what the new test numbers for it do. It's a semi-effective edgeguard or KO move *only* near the edge or offstage, at reasonably high damages. Some recoveries are more vulnerable to the move than others, and it still has the unique advantage of a low sending angle.

Here's my opinion on why Peach is top 10.

At this point, Peach seems to have very few bad matchups, her worst being Marth and Meta Knight. Marth is 40:60, and while in Brawl MK vs Peach was 35:65ish, in Brawl+ MK has been nerfed and Peach has improved, putting the matchup at 40:60 as well (from my experience). Peach has many advantages (and even ***** some characters hard) as well as many matchups that seem to be highly debated. These debated matchups all tend to be argued even, slightly in Peach's favor, or slightly in the favor of Peach's opponents. Overall, the matchups are probably about even, and different arguments are often due to the differing experience levels of Peach players in these matchups. In addition, Peach doesn't have a single "unwinnable matchup", and she's not "*****" by any member of the cast.
Her matchups alone should put her in the top 10 IMHO.

So the question I ask is, should we really be complaining about a TONE-DOWN on a buff to Peach's riskiest move? I honestly don't believe so.

In my first post when i said advanced i made sure to define it as (/more people with some skill at more characters), no reason to lol at me.

Anyways if you look at that tier list, you'll see peach is a ways away from the lower tier character which would start on lucas, unless you looked at it start at bowser, meaning peach would be one spot away from high.
