The way he handled everything about Sho was pig disgusting and was entirely why I lynched him. He still got the slot in the end with his ****ing double mafia line. That was the only reason I was okay with the shot Inferno made.

I think I'd take back the Mr. Lynch lynch, if I could. Worst decision I made in the game.

That. I defaulted to Xonar's reads on him, as well as I think ZV and Kryst. Not sure of anyone else, he nabbed Hep before I even got to the thread though.

I was always (slightly?) suspicious of JTB but defaulted to your read. When you found JTB indy with lotsa proof I was happy to join you.

Bardull we both had as town.
BM we both had as town.
ZV I had to hammer as town towards the end again, but you went with that quite easily.
Mr Lynch we removed for his role iirc?
Sho you put out there as town after the flips, but he died.
Raziek was town to both of us.
KeviM was largely me.
Diamond we both had as town, but you had indy suspicions just before his death (because OS tends to have JoaT indies)

FroMar we had as townlean until the last day where we had him as indy for claiming too much town credit and HIS ROLE HAD TO GOOOO
Ruy we both heavily disliked but you stopped me from actually lynching him because of the result lol
Inferno we both had as town, but you had to remind me how he played to his role to explain early scumminess.
Kryst you had a moment of weakness with towards the end, but that didn't last longer than 5 minutes LOL

I tried to get back into the game and he bullied me right back out of it. It was literally the LEAST enjoyable experience I have ever had playing mafia.

Look, somebody's gonna have to help me get into this game. I missed a lot of the early game due to working on assignments and I have a really hard time getting into a game unless I'm involved from the start to actively build reads, rather than simply playing catch-up and trying to decide.

Someone needs to ask me questions that will make me actively think about this game, because otherwise I'm just gonna be on the fringe due to lack of interest. *****ing and calling me "scum diediedie" (Really Ruy?) doesn't ****ing help, it just makes you look like an *** for calling a slot with minimal content scum.

This day shouldn't end in anything but a DH lynch. I'm reading from around page 25, hopefully I can come up with some more enlightened stances with the Meadow/Hep scumflips in mind as I read.

1. Xonar/Laundry (Make It Rain!) - Meadow disconnect bodes well for this slot. The multiposting stream of thought is feeling Town thus far...

6. Bubbly Masquerain (Joey/John) - Town vibe from the majority of their posts.
7. Red Ryu - 1091 Reads make no sense whatsoever. Reasoning in 1113 is bad. However, Hep has a scumlean on Ruy in the following posts. Could be a bus, but seems unlikely with Hep's head in the 7-Flush. Ruy/Hep/MS have thread control in the 1170 area. Could see a bus on Ruy to save MS. Unless FMarsh has information clearly Ruy, which he's heavily implying he is, IDFK how he has RuyTown.
8. Mr. Lynch - Town by exclusion due to 7-flush. Hep voted MS towards the end of the day, likely in an attempt to swing the 7-flush off of himself and onto Mr. Lynch. Double bus is a horrid idea given the massive scumread had by most on him, which makes ML likely Town.
9. Krystedez - Very likely cleared based on Bardull's gambit. No reason to disbelieve his claim, his crumb and the events of the gambit line up very well. Really liked his 1107.
10. JTB - Nullish, late posts D1 give slight Townlean.
11. Inferno3044 - Nerfed Vig, again pretty darn likely, not seeing any scumFerno in his posts.

13. Dark Horse - Visited a dead body, what more is there to say? Remind me heavily of Shadow (FF6), but I don't think he was announced outright as the killer in that game. 1075 is pretty gross, switched off hard without too much elaboration.
14. KevinM - 1039 gives me a weird vibe when we account that both Meadow and Hep flipped scum. The question feels out of place among the others. 1101 makes me feel better about him on the Ruy disconnect. Same with 1360. Recanting earlier odd vibe after his later appearances. Gets better and better towards the end of D1.
15. El Zv - Probably DumbTown, find myself agreeing with Bardull wrt Chibo's line of thought ~Page 25, feels very similar to his recent Town play in BBR Castlevania. 1082's 7-flush doesn't look like a bus to me. Hep's 1130 is further disconnect.
17. Frozenflame751/Marshy - Feeling good about watching Marshy's clear disconnection from MS during D1, pushed towards Hep as well.

Misc Notes:

- MS requesting a prod on MiR/Sho is a disconnect. If they were scum together, Ryker/Laundry would just be in contact. Don't see Ryker blatantly faking something underhanded, reads more as looking for Towncred by poking the inactives.

Looking at the list now, I'm left with a complete Null on DF, DH and Ruy as scum. I am ok with this.

AND I'M NOW INTO THIS GAME, SHOUTOUTS TO NO LONGER BEING A LAZY ****.

Oh right, I forgot to add my elaboration on Politoed. Their read list was fantastically in line with my thoughts for the most part, and hard-bodied two scum. Indy at absolutely worst, but I'm very certain they're Town.

I did. I was actually rolling the idea of whether or not the behavior was mod killable or not, and was trying to determine if FrozenMarsh deserved a warning. There's definitely a line. I use bravado myself to a great degree and understand that "in game me" is not the same as "out game me", same with others, but at a certain point it is no longer the other person's responsibility to get over it. At that point its your responsibility to make sure you aren't just making someone else's game crap because of how you've chosen to play the game.

Would have taken a ridiculous amount of perseverance and manipulation (and probably quite a bit of town self destruction) to knock this thing out with the way D1 went (and DH getting ****ed in the opening post of D2? I would have cried), and you made a really good run at it.

FroMar v. Toed was painful to watch. If JTB had actually managed to pull a rabbit out of the hat here, I'm sure most of the credit for the win would have to go to the ridiculous dysfunction there.

I will apolegize for my rude behavior and completely head strong attitude.

After Hearts mafia when town for the most part refused to listen to me on just lynching and not stalling I've been struggleing to get people to follow and listen to me.

What made it worse was that when people get antagonistic to me, like me vs Toad I tend to not want to listen as much. Even more I couldn't justify FroMar as scum outside of somethings like his push on Inferno. That was the only thing that made me say, maybe he is scum, that and the raz situation a little. Everything else looked like legit town.

Being annoying as **** and not backing off easily is the only way i feel like I can do it.

Dude no problem man, I owed it to you for the huge ****ing carry through D1 and D2 (and most of the post DH lynch D3 phase dealy). Like, you put in ****ing work. It was like you were the starting pitcher, hardbodied the scum while you were alive and kickin, and then ran out of gas at the end and I came in to close hahaha.

It was scum lynch city early game, then we were both pretty low on involvement, then I kicked in to clinch the last one.

And omfg do you remember that ****ing PM I sent you when I was piss drunk yelling about how I was drunkenly reading JTBs posts at the start of one day phase and how I thought the oozed scum. hahahaha I need to reread games drunk more often apparently I actually develop a solid scumdar then XP

So happy my gut was right about the Crono/Frog tension I KNEW that **** sounded grody as ****, def feels good to know that I didn't doubt myself on core balance mechanics like that.

@ MiR: Hey man, that endgame debate got kind of heated and shots were fired but good **** bringing it home with us. I realized pretty quickly that just antagonizing one another wasn't gonna get the game moving anywhere and us going wall for wall was just going to make everything worse. Writing that first "compromise plan" post was definitely the best I idea I personally think I had this game. Really set the tone for forward progress and surprisingly provoked your read change on JTB which I honestly wasnt expecting. I was admittedly procrastinating my JTB writeup because I was afraid of getting into a huge argument project heh.

I still don't really see what all the fuss was about with my Dvoting wrt the compromised plan because that created a 4 player lylo and I couldn't alpha strike there if we were scum and wanted to and you guys could have easily voted me out and forced your other pick to hammer assuming you didn't think infern was scum and he didn't get NKd. Idk seemed a little overblown, we had safety nets.

Wrt the Kevin vs. ElZv bold leadership pick those were our top two scum picks at the time. I didn't even pick up on JTB until after that mislynch IIRC. Kevbro was given us the chills hardcore and ElZv was well... being so anti-town by doing nothing that it would feel stupid to not have him in consideration.

Props to JTB for the final run despite losing the two best roles on the faction on the first ****ing dayphase. That **** is absolutely brutal, this game would have been COMPLETELY different if even one of those roles survived. Def a TON of mafia power with those two. Losing them right away would be incredibly frustrating and I'm sympathetic to that. Credit to the townbros who made that **** possible Day 1, honestly thats what won the game for us.

Narrowing down and nailing JTB at the end was just a matter of settling down and making the safe, reasonable choice so I felt good about leading that and bringing closure to a game that desperately needed it after all the people had done so much work in early game started letting the lack of closure get to them lose focus.

Overall was a really fun game. Happy I played. When I have some more time I'll probably give my thoughts about the design of the game/overall balance, but just in general I'd like to say I'm a fan of what I saw. Well done OS.

I think what did it is that I started ISOreading JTB to have just in case you posted stupid **** in your wall. I then started reading and realized he wasn't anything I thought he was. That's what got me. I wanted your JTB read because you guys explained none of your reasons ever. You never said more on your Hep read, it took Drew bludgeoning marshy to get his DH read, and he just kinda sat on his laurels most of the game.

As for you two being a doublevoter in a 4-man, it's still a 2/1/1 situation, or at least it could've been and I didn't want that. The only thing that made me reconsider is that looking back over the night actions, there wasn't an unclaimed action, so the indy was either something really passive, just wasn't using his ****, or just wasn't here. I kinda erred on the side of no indies after that point.

Essentially the plan was FroMar gets hammered in the first post of Day 2. If both of us made it through, then Hep would use his ability to copy me and flip as Kefka (seeing as Goner would be announced and everyone would be looking for him). If Hep didn't, then I would hammer and use the second ability I had to cause Inferno to fail to vig me. He would be told he succeeded, but I would be alive, discrediting his claim. The next day phase was set to lynch DH by any means necessary (guilty claim, whatever it took) if Hep died and I didn't or if we couldn't pull an Inferno lynch when he failed his vig.

On both night phases, we would be swinging for MiR.

With a DH princess bus, we would take whatever lynch we could get with me constantly pushing that JTB was scum, especially if his claim came out, with the intention of having him lynch us rather than the other way around but letting all the players that were left see how hard we had been pushing him (this could be facilitated by an intentional gaffe in claiming our role if necessary and preferably during Twilight) and having him ride that through the end game. JTB retains the ability to night kill Krystadez due to being Superman (I think) and it would be on him to finish it out.





All of that would be subject to change based on the situation and what we encountered to trip it up. The entire reason I went in on FroMar (who I legitimately thought was scum) was so that I could point to the fact that he had Hep as a scum pick and that's why we shouldn't be lynching the person who was trying to play over Ranmaru, but then Ranmaru replaced out without attempting to play and a ****ing Soup/Zen hydra replaced in making Hep the apparent lynch and letting FroMar look better because it changed popular conception from the direction it was moving in (it really was gaining steam toward Hep being given a chance). It blows my mind that people had FroMar as such a town read on Day 1 given his reads and how he went about pushing them.

Oh yeah, I wanted to apologize to Nabe/Circus. Yes, it did seem as if I was coming off more jokingly about my scum-read on your slot but I did honestly have one on you guys and that's why I was more than happy to use my 7-Flush vote on you when I prompted Fromarsh if they would be okay with it since they saw what I was seeing. But yeah, you know I love you guys (no homo...maybe a little) but it sucks the way it happened.

Ryker was always on my watch-list because I got the feeling he was playing into the fact of us "working together" but let it slide for D1 purposes.

Oh yea I think if mvp has to be someone that lasted til end game, I would say between the two hydras, MiR and FroMar. However, if it can belong to a single player that died early, I really liked Bardull.

I am open for criticism, I really put most of my effort into this game over my other two, and I felt I played much better here than in LoM. I kinda was inactive primarily for that reason of playing in too many games ^^;

Edit: also Bubbly Masq was great too ! Insta-town feels and good town decisions as a whole.

So yea, Idk how MVP decisions work, but I def. think if dead players can get it, Bub.Mas shoud get it or Bardull, while if only alive, I vote MiR.

Bardull nor BM gave an MVP performance imo. They played well but an MVP performance is on the level that they themselves made a huge impact and without them the game would have a different outcome. If anybody I would say MiR.

I had town feels from you all game, except some of Day 1 at fiiiirst. I really didn't know where you were going end game, I mean, I shared your sentiments of allowing a double voter into potential Lylo/town-self-destruct, but I didn't share your reads. Primarily because I was mason'd with RR, knew that ZV could verywell be Lazy Town, and that FroMar's concerns were legitimate and his response to your slightly reachy case. If you had turned up Indy I wouldn't have been surprised, but when you and fromar slowed down I was really happy to feel the town feels again and to open up my browser to see JTB lynched and Town Wins, I was estatic. GJ.

To be honest Ryu, your play reminds me of my own where you are slightly vague with your reads, slightly less commited in terms of finding posts/cases, and generally all around too expectant of your town members. But overall your posts seemed towny in respect of intent, and I was thourahgly pleased to find you mason me.
