Okay, I don't really hate him because he's fat, I just don't think he'd be good as a real Strawhat. And while I wouldn't mind them getting another girl in the crew, I feel like nine members is more than enough. I mean, as it is now I feel like Franky and Brook aren't getting enough screentime, and more members would just make it worse. Plus there's that whole "two years of training alone" thing they all went through, so anyone else joining now would seem weird.

"Straw hat" is a term for someone who is actually a member of Luffy's crew. You might as well count Mr. 2, Ace, Gaimon, Miss Kaya, Gan Fall, Paulie and pretty much anyone who's friends with Luffy and his crew if you're not going to make that destinction.

Not to mention that Jinbe and Vivi were actually offered to join but declined.

I love how he's talking about respect for the captain while he's grabbing his captain's cheek LOL

Btw is it just me or is the way the characters are drawn in the show... kinda off?
I never really liked watching animes that are adaptations of manga comics because it just doesn't look like they spent much time making the characters look right or animating it properly.
