The spoiler came out incredibly early, but the chapter was quite late. Not something you see every day... er week. Whatever. lol

Gosh, in fact that spoiler came out almost a week before the chapter was supposed to be released in Japan. That's just kind of ridiculous. D:

Anyway, in this chapter is more confirmations of the anime actually being right with its "Straw Hat filler" arc.

Next week will be Sanji and Robin. I'm really looking forward to that!

Zoro's was cool. I had seen people speculate that it was Mihawk's house because of the cross shown in one of the cover's so that wasn't too shocking for me. And after this I'm pretty sure that Moria is dead. It's funny how ignorant Mihawk is because he left early. He was gone before Doflamingo came up to attack Moria because of the "higher orders". A lot of people want to take what Mihawk said as hope for Moria being alive, but it really isn't. Mihawk knew he survived the actual war and left it at that.

The rest of them... Franky's was funny. Especially him pressing the button because he thought it had a pirate flag symbol on it... It's funny how ignorant the One Piece characters are to that meaning "dangerous". Nami's was, well, funny as well. Her fake tears aren't fake. We all know it. lol. Brook got himself into quite a situation. It's funny to see Brook look all scary like that too.

Now I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed, but these stories don't really seem to be very conclusive, not the "return to SA" stories we'd be expecting to see anyway. Chopper found his ride back, but the rest of them are stuck in situations right now. Especially Brook and Usopp. So I'm wondering what direction Oda's going for here... Are there going to be continuations to these short stories? I'd say that's the only way to go here. I just really thought that Oda was going to get the crew back together ASAP. These stories are leaving behind way too many loose strings for that to happen immediately.

I enjoyed all of the stories this chapter, and I am so happy that Perona made another appearance. I just lover her adorable little ghost. The baboons were a surprise and I'm sure no one saw that coming.

Brook was fun to watch playing the devil. . . . . . .Franky why?

Sanji isn't an okama at all anymore. Hm. That's about where I originally thought it was going, though. That Sanji was only dressed like that because he was forced, or he was doing it to make the transvestites shut up. Glad that the anime was dead wrong, but sad that Oda didn't have any fun with the opportunities that still could have been done.

This chapter was another "OMG!" chapter where everything gets thrown right into your face all at once. After getting caught up to the One Piece manga I've realized that there are a lot of chapters like this. My fast reading pace makes me confused because so much is happening and I suck at seeing exactly what is going on in the manga panels. D:

So I wonder what Luffy did/is doing. Can't wait to see. I'd say we will find out next chapter.

Very doubtful that Luffy will be 17 at the end of the series. In fact Oda said that Strong World is his last adventure as a 17 year old. That part confuses me because Strong World is a movie that has uncertain placement in the actual storyline. Although apparently it is canon. It was done by Oda himself and even has a chapter in the manga. (Chapter 0.)

Really I always took that line to be talking about the Marineford arc, but people say that he was talking about Strong World. I don't know. Either way Luffy will not end the series at 17, rest assured.

I'm not sure exactly what Oda is going to do from here out, nobody is. But a lot of people speculate a time skip of some length coming really soon.

Because he's not an idiot. He knows Mihawk would just butcher him if he challenged him now, and that wouldn't be helpful at all to Luffy. I don't think Mihawk would spare his life again, so Zoro should only challenge Mihawk when he believes himself to be ready.
