It's a chapter that showed many characters in a younger state. It also showed the main antagonist of Strong World and his clash with Gol D. Roger.
An anime adaptation was made of it.
By the way, I really advise avoiding this topic if you don't read the manga. You're bound to get spoiled. Some major events have happened in the Marineford arc and I really think it is best you see them for yourself if you haven't already been spoiled.
Anyway, why isn't anybody talking about the Spoilers? They've been out since this morning. I don't read spoilers myself, but I was just wondering.

I think they should have added a strong crew (or more) for Shiki because it sucked.
Why? because the fights where shorts compare shiki vs luffy. So let me understand about the clown thing, he uses chemical powers right? Those chemicals din't do **** against zoro...like wtf.
and did the monkey just pulled a Donkey Kong???? horrible. I feel like there should be more fighting scene in this movie. And I also feel that Shiki could have done with more with his power because he got wrecked so hard!!! He such a sandbager!!!! So there fore, I loved the Alabasta movie than the rest of the One Piece movie series.
The only thing that I loved about this movie is where Luffy punches shiki in teh face! that was THE best moment...you have to agree with me here. Oh and the whole dressing up nice with guns...that too...sort off.
I give this movie a 6 out of 10, I still say they should put more effor on the fighting scene

Hm... hard to say. Aside from anyone in the Strawhat crew, I like Buggy's, Crocodile's, Doflamingo's, and Smoker's character design. Those are the ones that come to mind for me.
Sabo's design was cool as well. He reminded me as someone Toriyama would have designed.
I can't single it out to a favorite character design though. I like a lot of them.

i just read strong world, and the manga is so epic right now as well
one piece is getting a lot more mature and oda is really unveiling a lot of the questions about the new world now, as well as adding new characters and plots

usopp - with heracles'n on boin island learning about exotic weaponry and fighting against an entire island of huge animals and the man eating island itself
sanji - with ivankov and the okamas/newkamas at kamabakka kingdom. about to attempt the challenge against 99 masters of okama kenpo
chopper - learning about advanced medicine at the bird people's library
robin - tagging along with dragon's revolutionary army
franky - blew up vegapunk's lab, now in the secret weaponry lab looking at research
brook - with the double jointed people, becoming a master of music!

Franky's story is hilarious. His story's probably my favorite one.
Looks like we'll have a small timeskip real soon since I don't expect Oda to show everyone slowly progressing on their skills. Also, the cover page was interesting. I wanted to see Sabo's face.

I find it interesting that
Zoro is becoming stronger, but in the presence of his biggest rival. It will be interesting to see how his training affects their innevitable battle.

Yes, thank goodness that Oda does not really ever show us any training. That is boring. One Piece is a Shounen that doesn't focus completely on Action and that's a big reason why I prefer it over the others.
Anyway, no telling how long this timeskip will be. I'm just so anxious for the upcoming chapters, because I'm pretty sure we'll know within the next few chapters.
That cover page blew my mind. lol So now we have been shown what Sabo looks like as an adult (or at least his body. lol) I wonder when we'll see him in the story again...

when the author himself says something then it's called word of god
If a fact is "canon", you are "not allowed" to contradict it.
for example, Pikmin. In the bad ending of Pikmin 1, Olimar fails in collecting all the ship parts and doesn't make it home. This obviously isn't canon because in Pikmin 2he lands on Hocotate and it is requested that he go back.
