Oh and I would ask omis? for something: At least at the end of the day, give us a list of all people with votes, the number of votes on them, and the people voting for them. Or for the end, at least the lynchee. I had to go thru almost all of day 1 to tyr to find smashbot voting on karshik. So like this:

Vote: Smashbot Aaaaaand, here's why:
1. Obviously it would be incredibly easy for smashbot to cover up his scum mates, since if he was scum he would know his partners. He would then be able to create a theory around the info we have that lets said scum partners appear town.
2. We lynch smashbot, we get lots of info. If he's scum, his theory is busted, and we should probably check out the people he listed as sure fire townies (Which would include me...). If he's town, then that makes his theory a little more plausible and we can look at the way other players acted toward him for info.
I think lynching smashbot will be beneficial either way.

That's really your defense smashbot? It seems like you are trying to stop people from lynching you by making it seem like we're making a mistake. But all in all, you've presented a theory that is...well pretty unlikely (though not impossible) and your defense is 'well no matter what you guys say, this is still what I believe," even with all the holes presented in your argument. I feel like enough has been presented to really disprove your theory. Instead of acknowledging your theory being torn apart, you've instead just tried to defend it and keep an open mind to other theories.

I'm relatively confident he's maf after how he's acted about his theory, and would like to(as would others) hear a defense that doesn't involve his theory being true.

1. Suppose I AM right. Suppose I end up as Vanilla Townie and you all look over my critic's responses. Then what? You'll have regretted a long day's waste of lynching and hope you don't get murdered by scum the next morning.
2. If I'm wrong, and I am NOT town, then what will you have LOST? Absolutely nothing. So, like Lombardi said, you can put your votes towards someone else, or you can give me a second chance and be contributory.

First off, I would like to defend myself from that FOS a little bit, by restating as Ronike said: I had said I was going to come on when I got some time to analyze some, and when I got that chance the most visible thing was smashbot's theory. I had to work an insane amount 6 of the days last week, as well as going to class on two of them, and didn't really have a chance to get on when I wasn't exhausted to a point where I couldn't think things through that well.
Secondly, smashbot, I didn't vote you because I was hoping that you would be able to provide a defense that didn't involve your theory. I really don't want to risk hitting another townie due to them doing something stupid(karthik not showing up, you so adamantly defending a theory that everyone pointed out holes in, without ever actually answering those holes etc.). However, it has now become apparent that your entire defense rests on that theory, and you can't make any argument outside of it except "I am not scum. I guarantee it. " Also, with 5 votes on you, as much pressure as could be placed wiithout actually lynching, you didn't even try to mount a strong defense essentially giving up. Between your refusal to argue anything without including your theory, and your apparent lack of care when you were so close to being lynched, I am now confident that you ARE mafia, and if you're not you are unable to let go of an idea you had until more evidence appears to suggest it may actually be true, so it is not a loss of someone very helpful. So, since Marshy un-voted to give others time to speak, and himself time to reread, I am making my vote when I get home from work tomorrow(assuming the lynch hasn't already happened), or possibly before work if I'm awake enough to check and those people have made their responses.

No not just that. The way he tried to defend it, even after all the loopholes and evidence against it were presented, he didn't just say 'ok, so maybe it wasn't the best theory, let's see if theres something else to work on, but we still ahve it to consider.' He has been stuck on it, and it has really kept us focused on that instead of working towards some other possibility. Plus, it seems like he's already given up, a strategy not commonly used, but might work in order to make us seem like we're making a mistake.
This=truth. Also, the only defense against his lynching he has given involves his theory being true, which seems to say he has no other way to defend. Honestly, if he IS town, I'm going to be angry that it would be the second townie lynched for not even trying. However, I do believe he is mafia as of right now, and as promised,

I really think smashbot is just being dumb for kicks. I don't know. I'm not gonna say I think he's town based on some of his earlier actions. I just don't have a strong enough feeling on this to really vote.
