How any discussion involving Low tiers goes:

LT Main/Fan: Hey guys, _________ is underrated they should be moved up to top tier/high tier/mid tier/a few spots (depending on level of delusion)!

Everyone else: Sorry buddy, but _________ is actually terrible.

Can we please discuss relevant Top tier characters like flaoc or Jigglypuff now?

I would take wifi over your offline based on these grand finals.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N96ko_YPr5c
The MK SDs at 1:29. He dies by taunting so you rest him 14:32 and he punishes a missed rest by the 1st hit of Ftilt only 13:07 and dies from being Fsmashed for it..

I'm trying not to troll or bash regions and focus on game play. You think Puff is great because your opponents are terrible. This was a grand finals.

_______________
Bottom line is I make the best of a bad situation and I'm a better player for it. There's plenty of offline videos of Link even if my regions terrible at keeping videos. Game play and results vs good people>theory.

I'm sick of this; I'm done. So much ignorant hating. Believe whatever makes you happy.
I have to admit that I am having a bit of trouble seeing things from your perspective here. Do you understand why people don't accept wifi matches for overarching MU theory (not "theory-crafting", theory. I think everyone would benefit from looking it up.)? If not, let me know and I will try and explain it as best I can.

Also, I've seen you make a LOT of assumptions about the people that post here if they don't agree with you word for word, most recent point and case accusing everyone here of ignorant hating. This isn't like Seagull Joe trying to explain to me how King DeDeDe can gimp Link 100% of the time by chain-grabbing him to the edge and then grab releasing (which is STILL one of the dumber arguments I've seen on these boards). Wifi experience =/= match-up understanding at the highest competitive level offline. There are things that can and can't be done on wifi. It is, in essence, it's own metagame. Maybe you are assuming that we are talking about said metagame. Allow me to clarify. We aren't.

@Everyone else: Don't respond in a condescending manner if you don't know what you are talking about or aren't willing to explain it. Please. It's painful to read.

Also, Falcon placed where?

...

That...

Is beautiful.

We were sand-bagging d00d
is the fact that he taunted randomly not enough of an indication for you? lol

Criticizing a video I post is one thing, for example, here's us doing the MU more seriously in a crew battle - www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MzarXIA5ks#t=20m, criticize away if you feel obliged

but you can't search for a single match of me and use it to denounce my entire opinion on about 30 match-up ratios - only one of which was actually featured in said video
especially when you turn around and claim that you *almost* beating a banana-less diddy kong on wifi means **** XD

---

Very cool to see a victory for Wario, any vids?

We have this one Link and he opened my eyes.

I just remember him jumping above someone and throwing a bomb downwards and it kept bouncing off the guy's shield and Link kept footstooling his shield until eventually his shield wore down and landed bomb to footstool > jab lock with nair > stuff. It was pretty cool.

Why didn't he roll or (more on the harder side but still doable) jump and bair to catch the bomb which would've made Link's footstool not work because he was in an attack animation?

Regardless, I would've been extremely impressed. I wish I could've seen it.

Also... Hey thrilla! I haven't seen you around the boards in a while!

It was because he was paralyzed with fear and it was also an HDTV.
Well, can't really blame the guy. It must've sucked even more getting styled AND having everyone watching rooting for the Link.

You're a fool if you don't realize that works against :link2:.

LOL not gonna lie, for a few hours I thought this was the BBR. Wherever I scrolled, I just saw backroomers... Seagull got me back in reality by quoting someone not in it. XD

Sadly, DDD just annihilates Link when he gets a grab.

Praxis was going to get me admitted to the BBR back in the day based on my posts and game knowledge. Then I didn't get MetaKnight banned for him.

And yeah, bad situation is bad. If Link didn't have decent spacing tools to help avoid the grab, there would be almost no point to the MU.

In all seriousness, what would a doubles tier list look like for this game? It's probable that:
S - MK, Wario;
but beyond that things get considerably murkier. How much do doubles-specific strategies factor into rankings (ex. Mother bros. healing, G&W bucket, Anubis)? Are tactics like these strong enough to warrant placing those individual characters higher on the list, or should other more straightforward team partners still outrank them?

Also, call me crazy, but I think Diddy is better in doubles than he is in singles.

MK, Wario and GW are the best doubles characters.
Snake, Olimar, Lucario, ZSS, Diddy Kong and DDD are extremely powerful with any of the aforementioned characters as their partners and they also have a couple of other good teammates.
Lucas, Ness and Luigi are characters that are bad in singles but can be very powerful in doubles.
DK can be a strong teammate if double MK is banned.

That's most of what you need to know about doubles I think.

In the rain.
I feel Pikachu's underrated in doubles. He could be 3rd, or maybe 4th after Diddy.

ZSS MK isn't that great. ZSS really only works well if her teammate is either a healer/G&W or can tank.

DK's not that much better in dubs than he is in singles.

Sonic's fairly good in doubles. TL seems good too. Kirby as well, I think all 3 of these guys are better than DK in dubs

Also Flaoc and ICs are not nearly as good in doubles as they are in singles (ICs moreso than Flaoc)

Kirby in doubles is actually really really good. All that gimping potential and stock-tanking works well when teamed with stronger characters. Not to mention fsmash is harder to dodge because you're paying attention to more than just Kirby fishing for kills.

Anyone who doubts the power of double Puff will be punished in eternal damnation that is BEING AN IDIOT.
I mean I had at one point heard (falsely to my dismay) that double MK almost got unbanned because someone realized people could just play double puff and that would solve the issue.

This is an obligatory Grim post, as Ghost pointed out
but
Puff is really good in doubles

Her main weakness is telegraphed as **** approach, which matters less with 4 characters on the screen, harder to keep her out reliably
Pound is godlike
Rollout is godlike (KOs early with very little charge)
Rest is slightly better because she won't get punished as hard for using it
She never needs any support from her partner because she's hell hard to pin down and edge-guard (except vs. MK)

Would you say Puff/Puff is a decent team?

Cuz like, that's what I'm doing at the next Toronto Local that Stef and I both go to and we're planning on winning so we need to know exactly how we can do that.

I assume it means Grab -> Rest 6 times? Yeah I think that's what we should do.
