Are you serious? Without a doubt, Ridley has been the most heavily debated with, I want to say, Mewtwo for second most.

Ah ****, I forgot Ridley (mostly because I didn't care foir either option, while I was active in the ones I mentioned). Though I don't believe I was a round for the Mewtwo "debate" though a few thigs came up here and there

Anyone else think it would be cool if for ssb4 they had character specific power ups, that last until you get knocked off the screen or something. Like samus could get her ice beam or wave beam or whatever, mario could get like the leaf so he could turn into the racoon. That kind of stuff would be pretty cool imo.

That's somewhat like I had in mind for the super meter thing. Samus' Super Charged Beam would be an Ice Beam. Mario's Super Uppercut would use his cape to glide afterwards.

I believe that SSB4 should not have any more third party characters like sonic and solid snake.
That was far enough.
Because when you add too many 3rd party characters, you're taking away what the game used to be - pitting your favorite Nintendo characters together to see which one comes out victorious. Not Nintendo vs. Sega or anything like that.

I'm also wondering what it will be called.
First just Super Smash Bros
Then Melee
Then Brawl

What's next?
I can't think of too many reasonable subtitles here...maybe just the number 4?
I think Smackdown would be a good one.
Also there's:
Clash
Battle
Duel
...but most of these don't seem to sound right.

Anyone have any ideas for that?

You're far overestimating Rosalina. I'd argue that Waluigi and Geno have better chances right now.

I agree Waluigi has a better chance but not Geno. He is third party and I don't see him filling a third party slot.
Personally I don't want any more Mario reps.

I'd be willing to say she's quite popular right now.

Also, in terms of originality, Rosalina beats Bowser Jr. As his name implies, Bowser Jr. is just the spitting image of Bowser as a child with more or less the same personality. Rosalina, while another princess, is very different from the other princesses. She has a softer, deeper voice and extensive backstory, for a Mario character anyway.

I think you'd be better off doing something like the Smash Ball.

I agree, Smash Balls are boring and they just change the focus of the battle to much. Anyway, I would like to see something about that dagger, but they don't want to use knives so I wonder why it's there in the first place.

kirby is no different if he swallow snake. then he is a cute kirby character walking around blowing people up.

don't you think bob-ombs are so cute? they walk around. if they see mario, they runn to him and explode. his purpose is to chase mario and blow him up. bob-omb is an item, so this might be a bad counter.

On Mewtwo, We do need him back w/ a couple of changed moves and an awesome FS, He was never a "clone" (If anyone it was Lucario but that still isn't true) Lucario has one move that's similar, which is Aura Sphere.

yes! yes it would! It would be a good thing!more fans who like violence. brings me back to snake. a gernade is real world weapon which children should not play with in real life. you see snake with real world weapons. and doesn't snake have bazooka for his side smash? And toad can protect the princess better with a bazooka. and mabye toad will get his own first person shooter game with a bazooka. SMRPG should never have mentioned a bazooka at all. kids will get the idea of using a bazooka in real life unless they play the game anyway.

I distinctly remember Sakurai saying he didn't want Snake to use knives. He said that the Japanese view knives and swords as the same thing, but that's not the case in the US (and I presume the whole western world).

He never did there was just a small quote in SMRPG that was kinda like this: "I'd go after him but I left my bazooka at home." Notice that wasn't "The Toad" just one standing on the side of the road.

I use to support Toad, but now I don't see him working.
When he became Peach's Neutral B in Melee is when I figured he wasn't going to be playable, both in Melee and most likely future installments.

Lol it was a duplicate of the post before and I edited it. And regarding bowser jr......I'd rather put the koopa kids from super mario bros 3 in the game at least they had magic wands. Adding kids of mario characters is kinda stupid. For kart games its fine, but leave kid versions of mario characters out. I say they put in Lolo from the adventures of lolo 1, 2, &3 lol.
