Why would I tell you guys that?
I personlly think that a Pokemon like Gengar, Weavile, or Infernape would be a better choice as a new playable Pokemon for Smash 4. They are quite powerful in the Pokemon games. And what about Electivire? Maybe Gliscor? Garchomp? We could have Gliscor stand on its tail as its fighting stance and have it bounce on it for its walk.

I was joking about Kecleon. As for a new playable Pokemon rep, we will probably get a Gen 5 rep if it has appeared by the time SSB4 comes out. I wouldn't mind seeing Mewtwo's return, but it may be unlikely.

Power isn't the only thing to take into account. Besides, Mewtwo's one of the most powerful pokemon, and he was low tier in Melee.

I wonder what would take for an american Nintendo employee to work on a Smash Brothers game...

Yeah, that's true =P

But what if an American Nintendo developer (like, someone working at Retro Studios or Next Level Games) that showed himself/herself to be massively talented expressed a desire to work on the series to Nintendo's big names? Would he/she have any chances?

is it me or douse the 5th gerneration if not good is gona be really depressing. they already have the god of pokemon how are they gonna top that hmmm. then again pokemon is kick *** so they'll think of somthing. possible roman gods instead of one god of pokemon and have arceus be like the zeus god. i have a good point dont i?

anyway i think NOA and europe should be part of the development of games showing their opinion and what their side represents. but depending on who it is it could be a failure
but i higly doubt a failure would happen

Ridley has potential. i think stylux is in other m. ppl be saying that one dude was stylux who took off his mask and said somthing.

If Sylux is in Other M, I hope he doesn't get in while Ridley doesn't (which, I'm sorry to say, Sakurai would probably do because Ridley's "too slow" or some ****)

Well, let's not forget that Mewtwo was planned for the game and even had an image for classic. He may appear again next time.

Right behind you with a knife.
I very much doubt that, and if he were, it'd be in exchange for Jiggs. The major problem with the current Pokemon lineup in Smash is that only one of them is not from Gen 1. Thus for the game, I'm fairly certain that they won't add in anyone from that gen, since its already well covered.

I personally think that Animal Crossing should have a rep for Smash 4. Some people think Tom Nook should rep, some think it should be K.K. Slider, and others would choose the Animal Crosser. I would personally choose the Crosser. Maybe Animal Crossing could get two stages, one for the town, and one for the city. I don't care if they're clone stages.

And do you know what would be crazy? Animal Crossing getting a boss in Smash 4.

Man, I wish that Nintendo listens to our forum.

Hehehe. I could easily think of an Animal Crossing boss ;D

I seriously think we have no influence over Smash's future development, tho. Which is a shame. Really, isn't there any way for an american developer to work in one of the traditionally made-in-japan franchises?

Well... unless it involves the whole world, then no, the US ideas doesn't really matter when creating a game that's made in Japan if it's that thought.

This is something a lot of people on this forum seem to forget, instead they believe that the US has the say in whether a character should be in or not; Tingle being a prime example of this. If people in America don't like him, that won't stop him from getting into a game made in Japan for a Japanese audience.

@ Mario the Jumpman- I may be wrong here, and probably am, but I don't think that Nintendo refers to the SBR tierlist when balancing the next game, and that is probably the most major thing in terms of global Smash that there is on this forum, so I doubt if Nintendo doesn't care about that they won't care about this site/ thread.

How do you figure that? Mewtwo was planned for Brawl. He was in the ISO for the game. He, like other characters, was meant to be put in, but were lost somewhere along the way. I doubt Sakurai sits there and thinks "Hmmm, there are too many pokemon from the first gen, I bet add more from other ones to balance it out." Remember that Sakurai makes his games for the players (apposed to others sadly). The first generation has by far the most popular pokemon. 1+1=2.

Or we could always cut the ever undeserving Jigglypuff for Mewtwo.:bee:

Well, out with it then! Who?

The best boss for Animal Crossing is Mr. Resetti himself. Anything else that's not a Bee, Taranchula , or a Scorpion I can't see as a boss.

Yep, I meant Phyllis ^^; Oooooh. Just imagine that.

I actually think Resetti's role as an Assist Trophy is fitting. As much as I fricking love the guy, if he were to be playable, we would be missing on so much precious dialogue. And being evil actually wouldn't fit him. He nags you a lot, that's for sure, but it's all for a good cause in the end.

I'd give my vote to Animal Crosser. Or Forest-er.

Mr. Resetti is alright as an Assist Trophy.

By the way, Clownbot, what does "ninja'd" mean?
Forum Games meme, sorry. It means someone posted a reply to something that you were replying to at the same time. In the Forum Games section, it usually means you have to edit your post, which can be very upsetting, especially if it happens continuously.

Ask TheAceLucario, he knows all about it.

On the adventure mode, because it came up, I think that a simple one is the best. No story. Just go to Nintendo world and platform (like Melee's adventure).

Or not have one at all. i don't think people buy Smash bros for the single player.

I think Adventure Mode could benefit from an apparentely simple story that upon further inspection has quite some depth. And Adventure Mode has SO MUCH potential to be totally amazing, potential that has been untouched up until now.

True.

MIDDLE GROUND: Make the story simpler, but enhance it in terms of just about everything else. Isidro's post is actually pretty accurate on how it should be, although it didn't touch up on other details, like gameplay and difficulty./is too lazy to go in-depth about that right now

Heheh, I understand you. Going in depth about something as elaborated as Adventure Mode...One needs to be truly in the mood.

You guys know? I was really passionate about the next Smash game. In fact, I still have a notebook with 40+ pages, both sides, filled with ideas I have for the game, in which I used to write in my free time, as a hobby.

And of course, speculation is amazing, it's entertaining enough for you to really put your imagination to work and just dream...

...But then, I realize that all of my ideas will probably never cross the border to the other side, the one of reality. And then I try to calm myself down from the enthusiasm, for my own good. But when I less expect it, it comes back. An idea pops up in my head, and I write it.

I pursue a job in the videogame industry someday. Working on something completely original is much more viable than working on Smash Brothers, yet, that's my dream. I just wish there would be a way to accomplish that. I'd do what it would take. But this isn't like Brawl's challenges; I have no clue of what to do to unlock this.

Bowser Jr., Toad, or Paper Mario.

EDIT: @sundayseclipse, why'd you delete your question? Now the people who haven't read it and see my post will think I'm crazy.

Paper Mario for me!

I still see a lot of room for improvement. Not just in adventure mode, but in all the other areas altogether.
