Barely. The latest Fire Emblem to be released worldwide (Radiant Dawn) outsold the latest Star Fox (Command).

Star Fox is going downhill in sales and quality, while Fire Emblem is going up in terms of sales and staying consistent in quality.

Like I said earlier, the reason the FE games stay consistent is because there are more games and the same developer does them.

The Star Fox series differs greatly from game to game because the developers are not consistent. You're stil trying to pin it on Krystal, which is futile.

Lucario did not replace Mewtwo. Sakurai fully intended for Mewtwo to be a playable character, however, due to time constraints (and possibly other factors) he was never completed.

I've read most of them up to that one and they all pretty much seem to say 'games with story will die because of the Wii lolololol', which completely ignore the fact that some of the most succesful games are incredibly story driven, such as Zelda and Paper Mario.

The Wii wasn't a step backwards. What are you talking about? It tried to innovate gameplay, though developers aren't really making good use of it... hopefully Motion Plus and games like the Conduit will change that.

The reason to quote the article is so people might listen. I would assume you are more likely to understand something from someone with better explanation then me. Many people call it crazy that games with stories will die, but the future is starting to loom that way (although, more so games that act like movies. Other members some how made it games with stories).

One truth is that I always think I am right, but so does 90% of the internet. The other 10% just sit idly by and watch. What I have noticed is most people either miss the point or have really bad counter arguments. The reason I never admit I am wrong is because no one has made an argument that would prove me wrong. That doesn't stop them from "thinking" they have done so.

I post the articles because if someone else can say it better then I can, then why should I say it myself. The other reason is I am a fan of his work and think more people should pay attention. He probably isn't the first or the only one who has said these things, but many people brush it off. "OH, games with stories will always be around." The point was that isn't the case. Many have tried to say that it wont happen, but they ignore when I mention M.U.L.E., a game that was popular in it's day, but fadded away.

No, I probably wouldn't. I like Roy for his playstyle and for FE6, if he was a lardo he probably would play very slow (I don't like slow characters, sans Ike) and wouldn't have gotten off his *** to save the world in FE6 due to his fatness. Just like how if Ridley was a big fat green three-eyed dinosaur the size of a sizescaper I wouldn't think he was cool (kidding, Kraid is cool, just not as cool as the Rid man).
