Pokemon Trainer shouldn't mix gens. That's a given.

Mudkip/Grovyle/Blaziken makes the most sense to me, because grovyle is the only 2nd stage pokemon that is cooler (from A LOT of empirical evidence) than its fully evolved equivalent, mudkip has a fad behind him, and Blaziken is quite popular if I remember correctly.

On another pokemon note, goldeen should become extremely powerful if it lands in water. Something like it swims around, then jumps out while performing "horn drill" which is a near one hit ko if it connects.

Hehe, Treeko has Grovyle beat in coolness but they're family so it's all good..

That was a typo on my part about Tingle being hated in Japan, sorry. I actually was thinking you were joking about BOTH characters. Most Zelda fans would take an original moveset Ganondorf over a fifth Zelda insignificant Zelda character any day. I'm actually a fan of Vaati, but Nintendo doesn't like to make recurring characters in the Zelda series for whatever reason.

Well, I'll just say that I'd be fine if Ninty "counted" a new moveset for Ganondorf as a new character, and maybe gave his old one to Black Shadow/whatever. But a lot of people would just see them adding no Zelda characters, and flip sh*t.

And I'm not joking about Tingle. He's hated in America, not Japan. But he's the only Zelda character to have his own game, and to be featured so heavily in the games he does appear in.

yeah.....the ones that arent popular? could u name them, because i've played every single game of every character thats been in smash, save for R.O.B. because he's an accessory, so what are you saying? the most unpopular characters in smash are probably ice climbers and game and watch, mother is a popular game in japan, and everyone knows the rest of the cast. so no, vaati and tingle just don't fit in with the all-star cast smash already has going on.

All of those characters have/had very, very, very little following outside of Smash Bros.. Some more than others. My point is: both characters I mentioned may not be household names like Mario or Pikachu, but they're both important to their series, and interesting characters in their own right.

Overall: More hitstun for more comboes and a slightly faster gameplay. Other than that , removing CGs would be great...

Mario: A little more range on some moves and a better recovery.
DK: Quite good as he is, as long as CGs are removed.
Link: Needs much better recovery and a little less lags.
Samus: More killing power and a little more range in close combat.
Kirby: Perfectly Balanced atm imo.
Fox: Perfectly balanced, if CGs are removed imo.
Pikachu: Quite OK, maybe a little less KO power...
Marth: A little less killing power + better recovery.
Mr. Game and Watch: Less priority and range. More lag for his turtle.

Most of these I agree with, but I picked out ones I don't, so here we go:

Marth: I think he's fine as he is. With Brawl's "magnetized ledges", Dolphin Slash is a quite capable recovery as is. And compared to Melee Marth, he's a good deal less capable when it comes to scoring KOs.
Zelda/Sheik: Zelda's Usmash needs to not be so RIDICULOUSLY CHEAP, Din's Fire should have a smaller hitbox, and Sheik needs a KO move other than her Usmash.
PT: I think Squirtle and Ivysaur are basically fine as they are. It's Charizard that needs work. In particular, more range on all but his Forward aerials, and slightly larger jumps.
Ike: More range? You crazy, dawg. Ike's good as he is...though maybe a tad less power in exchange for a slight speed boost is in order.
Bowser: Rather than making him faster, I propose to make Bowser even tougher. Basically, just increase his launch resistance. It should be at the point where if he's under 50 or so%, nothing but a charges Smash Attack would send him flying. Basically, I want him to be the tank (which is what he should've been to begin with, rather than a "punching bag").
