I hate discussions on the worst character. The bottom line is they all have no tournament viability and they can't be won with against higher tiers unless there's a large skill disparity or the player has no idea how to play the matchup. It should be left at that.

Can you read? "Or the player has no idea how to play the matchup." was in reference to Hax vs Mofo, " a large skill disparity" was in reference to Reaper's comment on knowing the Pichu matchup.

Either way, I keep having to repeat one post for people.

I know enough to know Hax was playing the matchup wrong, as do you. Why you're arguing on a non point when you know my initial statement is correct is beyond me.

Jiggs is like, the only high tier who has trouble with lower tiered characters lol. Overall match-up wise, she's overrated and Sheik is underrated. But then again, everyone uses spacies now, so that doesn't matter much lol.

Almost everyone I played at Apex was a techy Fox or Falco -_-

Except she beats everyone in the top 7 who isn't Fox or Falco. Her "lower tier trouble" i.e. Young Link etc. doesn't really matter because she still has the advantage in the matchup.

the only low tier that could possibly have a chance vs jiggs is probably young link if he plays perfectly, and even then i'm really not sure

Lower tiered =/= low tier

There's still the mid tiers like Ganon and Doc (maybe Mario and seeing RockCrock/Mexican doing well vs Hbox, I wanna say DK too)

There's also Link.

Sheik beats 3 full tiers with just down throw, does better vs Fox/Falcon/Peach and beats Marth w/o debate.

Jiggs beats all the lower tiers you mention. All of them, extent's not overly important because it's too arguable and we'd never reach a compromise, let's just say that she beats all of them. Link, YL, DK and Ganondorf, they all do well comparative to their tier position, but they all still lose.

As for the top:

Fox - Jiggs loses, but not as bad as once thought, as shown by Hungrybox beating EVERY fox there is. At No Johns most recently, Jman clearly knew the matchup and STILL lost. Fox still wins but it's definately possible.
Falco - Even, arguable advantage either way.
Marth - Jiggs wins.
Sheik - Jiggs wins, Sheik's worst matchup.
Falcon - Jiggs wins.
Peach - Jiggs wins minorly.

Doesn't look too bad to me.

Since top tier matchups are the ones that really matter, there really isn't much to continue talking about here since I'm just saying "overall matchup"-wise, she's given more credit then she deserves. Jiggs does good or decent while other top/high tiers completely ****.

However I still do feel unease about Jiggs > Marth :( how did the Marth community decide on that? Cause Mango is better then M2k? >.>

Read through some of my posts in the matchup thread, I've argued that matchup exhaustively.

Carl, its because everyone is like "Puff puff puff broken" and were like "nah its a pretty decent matchup for marth" and then everyone is like "nobody plays marth, puff must win" and then icy changes it. thats how this thread works these days.

Or it's because of all the reasons that people like me, Dark Sonic and KK provided that you didn't properly refute.

HBK still plays Marth, how did he do against HBox last month? Oh yeah, 2-0'd.

*Sigh* I knew that was a mistake, it was just in response to the "nobody plays Marth" thing. Forget that, just use the actual reasons provided in the MU thread.

I still have to think pikachu deserves a mid-tier spot. I mean Mango won several major tournaments and is one of the best players around, but still couldn't win with Mario. He didn't even get far at all. Even if Axe is better than Mango, its still a testament that Pikachu is a legit character capable of going far, while Mario... not so much? Pikachu is surely mid-tier material, even if low mid-tier. I mean thats really only 2-4 spots anyway, Maybe above DK/Mario or something.

I still gotta agree Axe is amazing and, I was rotting for Axe every match and freaked out when he came back from a 3 stock deficit against Armada in match 2.

I was dumb hype when Axe got that insta-kill off Armada first round. **** was surprising. And that comeback got me going crazy!

Axe has definitely strengthened my thoughts on Pika being a mid tier.

Axe is much more experienced with Pikachu than Mango is with Mario, though. However, I still agree, I believe Pikachu to be mid-tier worthy (barely).

Also, SPOOOOIIIIILEEERRSSS.
