ahhh everyone making me happy with brawl/peach hate who's birthday is it? I'm more proud of you KK than what I said about ness on livestream.

Kaos, the only reason why you would ever win a tournament match with mewtwo is if your opponent didn't know what the hell you were going to do. If your opponent actually knows the matchup, basically every good character (fox jiggz falco sheik marth peach falcon etc) DESTROYS mewtwo. The only reason why people win with mewtwo in tournament is that their opponents don't know how to play against somebody who knows how to use mewtwo, or they're Taj and just inherently better then everyone else.

I promise you, if everyone knew how to play against a good mewtwo, mewtwo would most likely never win a tournament match. Never. He's just that bad of a character. I'll say it again: Mewtwo is a terrible character, no amount of whim wishing will change that, and if everyone knew how to play against a good mewtwo, no mewtwo player (except maybe Taj) would even make it out of pools. Mewtwo is not mid tier, he is hardly even low tier, his only good matchups are pichu and kirby. He is NOT tournament viable.

He does better against Fox than she does

We either go even with marth or we beat him, but this is one of Peach's worst MU,

She goes even with falco, we lose to Falco

We both lose to Sheik (but we got it worse)

We both lose to Jiggs (imo)

oh, and we're one of her worst MUs.

I fail to see how her MUs are better since she doesn't **** Doc, Ganon, and Samus like we do.

Peach has to deal with Marth and Fox.

I think someone else told me this argument and I think it's part of why I have them together in my list.

I would really like to say Marth wrecks Peach and she sucks in the matchup, but then Marth players get all uppity and act like you've decided to go out of your way to insult them. It doesn't help that the only active top notch Marth lost to that kid from Europe.

It's a similar spiel with Fox.

And then weighting by matchup would indicate that she's a worse character since she loses to Fox, Marth, Sheik, arguably Falcon and Puff, and then doesn't really look forward to much in the rest of the viable characters except like Ice Climbers...

Peach is confusing. Armada makes her seem like she has a lot of hidden power simply because of how strong his basics are. It's neat. Maybe Peach is the new Ice Climbers LOL.

I never said he is good.but you have always been overly negative. iori winning a tourney already says its not outside the realm of possibility and that you can be consistent with him.

fox has all winning MUs but still manages to lose....how does that happen?

I could go to my local game store and win with Mewtwo. Hell I can also beat a bunch of scrubs in tournament with him, that doesn't make him good, it makes them BAD.

I get your point though, no Peaches outside of Armada are placing at nationals well. I don't think Peach > Falcon on the tier list (haven't really thought about it) but we'll see as time progresses how that turns.

Marth is less stressful to use if I'm only playing against low level, average, above average, and high level tournament players. Fox is far better vs pro-ams, pros, and top pros. Ideally, I would use marth through pools and half of singles brackets, but it takes time to warm up fox that marth doesn't require, so that warm up time is usually the early matches of a bracket. Unfortunately, you also need to balance it so that you don't burn out at some point in the bracket, as fox is a high stress character.

tl;dr
Marth is good at a lower level of play. Fox is better at high level play, but may burn you out over the course of a tournament. Also, everyone at high through top pro knows the fox matchup better than anything else.

Nothing argued in this thread is really getting anyone anywhere so there is really no point especially because nobody can even agree on a method and even if they did it wouldn't matter cause were not in the mbr and it would be an unoffical list which couldnt exist on smashboards
