Wobbling just destorys falcon and if he knees the wrong Ice Climber well it leaves him quite open fo such a counterattack.

that matchup is slight falcon. ic's have tons of stuff but if falcon waits and attacks at the right time, he can win the matchup. he just gets punished super hard

and i wasn't talking about the head-to-head, i was talking about overall tier list placement. falcon is better than ic's overall

IMO Roy and G&W are underrated. I think they have a bigger chance than some characters higher than them on the list to win against higher tier matchups.

IE. Roy does decent against FFers, while G&W does decent against floaties. Roy I'd say isn't as much combo food as DK is, and has decent options, while G&W IMO would have an easier time against floaties than Zelda maybe I dunno.

I would call it a 65 35.
falcon can run circles around roy and kill him (with good DI) from very low percentages.
Roy is also a massive combo bag.

However, Roy has his dashdance, DED which can stop falcons approaches, his grab game destroys falcon, and roy can also combo him decently, with good edgeguarding.

Its not too bad, but its not amazing either.

Pyro said that its one of his favorite matchups last time we met, so im pretty sure he thinks it might be better?

falcon murders roy. better camping in every way > grab / crouchgrab > upthrow > roy gets killed.

oddly, roy is much better on fountain and falcon is much worse, so the match looks playable there.
